A pic of Shepard charging it up is on the Mass Effect Facebook page.

What do you guys think?  It looks like it utlizes electricity rather than incineration like the engineer's.  I'll have to see it in action before I decide if it's more appropriate for the infiltrator than the soldier's omni-blade.

Also, this is confirmed to be the Infiltrator's heavy melee on the ME Facebook page in the pic's description.

While I still believe that the Infiltrator should get the omni-blade, it still looks pretty cool.

I'll have to see it in action, but yeah, completely agree.  The soldier totally stole the infiltrator's thunder.

YEAH!!..:wizard:....Finally the Infiltrator melee reveal...I would love to see that in action...I like it, it suits the Infiltrator...Personally I think it makes more sense than the sword or incineration, the Infiltrator is a techie...electric is perfect....Nice choice BW....^_^

Does anyone know if BW has listed the Infiltrators powers for ME3 yet?

Not officially yet, but with some deduction from the other classes it seems to be this:

- Disruptor Ammo
- Cryo Ammo
- Tactical Cloak
- Proximity Mine? (This is the one we don't know for sure, the new power that each class gets)
- Incinerate
- Sabotage (the new version of AI hacking)
- class Mastery (I wish they would name it "tactical mastery" but it may just be "operative" again)


And since the nature of Fortitude is still a mystery (we don't know if every class has it or if it is the placeholder for the bonus power), can't say for sure about that one either.

Yeah, and it's back for ME3.  It either hacks synthetics or makes weapons misfire and stuff like that.  I think it was a good idea to combine the effects because AI hacking was a useless ability against organics in ME2.

That doesn't change the fact that AI hacking as an ability was useless most of the time.  Powers should all have relevance in any situation, however some should be more efficient than others in specific situations.

I like taking control over Pyros.

That's a different looking omni tool, again. It has prongs and it's slightly more red, or at least, looks more red.

It almost seems like they're putting more thought into these heavy melee attacks than they need to, unless they get their own Codex entries and all have special types of damage and properties...

I like it, can't wait to see what the Vanguard's is. The only heavy melee I've disliked so far is the Sentinel's.

I am kinda hoping myself that BW changes Incinerate out for something more Techie and less showie...something more in line with infiltration and tech....I always thought that was an odd choice for someone who is really meant to be more stealthy (BW 's arranging that from what I understand) and tech orientated.

I could see Sabotage and Proximity mines as promising for an Infiltrator....they make sense.

So why did the Soldier get the omni-blade over the Infiltrator? Majorly disappoint right now. :(
