I'm pumped. Thing looks absolutely gorgeous. I never thought I'd see so much improvement over ME2's graphics.

Indeed.

I am thinking that is a strong possibility,  I am also wonderinf if that could be the citadel tower that they are looking at and trying to get into it's previously inacessible core.

Hm, that's what I first thought about when I saw the shape in the hologram but any building could be tall and skinny like that.

That is true and Palevan probably has it's share of buildings that are like that but considering the role the citadel plays in the series lore and it's key role in all the previous cycles as well as being the hub of the relay network it is almost a given that at some point we will need to find out all of the secrets of the citadel and since CSEC is loaded with turians he could easily be a turian csec officer that is helping us pop open the inacessible areas of the citadel.

Sidonis or no, I am more curious about where they are and what they are doing.

They are planning how to take back Palaven. It is Palaven, right?

The Turian could be general Septimus Oraka.

EDIT never mind - can't be Septimus since he got 3 stripes on his chin.

I think Septimus is retired or close to it anyway, would be way more awesome if we got to see General Partinax in-game (and we have no idea what he looks like so they could really run with that idea).

This is by far my favourite batch of screenshots (minus YET ANOTHER ATLAS MECH PICTURE) since we really get to see some detail and that debriefing shot is just awesome for so many reasons.

Is it March yet?

Whoever the Turian is, where are they and what are they looking at? Looks like a 3D rendering of a communications tower.

I bet these are the original Reapers. It's share way too much in common with general Reaper design not to be if you ask me. The Reapers also have to have some kind of infantry to at the very least round up prisoners for processing. Relying solely on indoctrination is too risky and or complicated.

Although they could be some other alien race I suppose. But I doubt they are from our current civilization as they resemble none of the other species. And Protheans got turned into Collectors... so they are definitely something new.

It's something Cerberus made, from the new comic that's coming out.

Looks exactly like Sidonis to me.

A decision making it to anther game and not being an email? :o I love ME3 already.

The "General" turian has white markings in his fringes. Sidonis does not.

If that doesn't work: http://imageshack.us...51/sidonis.jpg/

Also, I notice a lot of clipping issues on Engineer(?) Shep's neck for the omni-blade attack...

All turians look alike to me. Couldn't it be a turian we haven't met yet? Like a commander at Palaven?

No it´s someone we already met because there must be a connection between the games and meeting the same people all the time during a galactic wide war is realistic, sure meeting with old characthers is nice but we need to meet someone new eventually.

From what though?

I suppose they could be super morphed Human Husks, but even those still had human features. These have none. Either Cerberus found a new species to husk or they simply found them.

I still think they are Reaper Husks. They were probably be stored somewhere in the galaxy as keeping them inside the Reapers is probably difficult out in Dark Space. Afterall we know the Reapers aren't adverse to keeping things in the galaxy (like artifacts, Dragon's Teeth, the Collectors). Perhaps they were intended to assist the Human Reaper as additional ground troops for their emergency Plan B along with the Collectors?

Though this still begs the question why Sovereign didn't use all these available resources. Although I suppose more ground troops wouldn't have been that helpful when you have numerous Geth and Krogan clones which are easier to replace and also helps fool people into thinking it's an attack by the Geth.
