Both a Paragon and a Renegade Shepard cares about something other than himself. Mordin has very clear ethics. Wrex cares about his people. So does Tali. And Legion. Garrus cares about justice above mortal laws. Even newborn Grunt finds something to belong to. Ask Jack what she thinks of the mission later, and she'll tell you that it's them or us. Samara's got her code. Chawkas cares about Joker.

Joker...likes flying.

That's it, really. Give him a ship and he'll follow you anywhere. If he had to choose between his ship and Shepard, he'd choose his ship. I have to wonder if the Collectors offered him a ship, would he work for them? And if the Reapers offered him a new body?

Frankly, I don't trust Joker one bit, and I believe he's the best possible candidate for betraying Shepard in ME3.

I completely agree. This has been my point all along.  I wonder If forced to choose would Chakwas choose Joker or Shepard ? 

And I absolutely think he'd take that new body in a heartbeat if the reapers offered.  We have no idea what happened when he joined Cerberus, what missions he's flow or what cargo he's transported around.  Joker could be indoctrnated in ME2 and the Reapers "activate him" in ME3.

Many people dislike Liara greatly from what I can tell because she's blue and not able to be killed in ME2.  Liara was off on her own storywise and because of that could not die on the SM mission.  The VS not chosen to stay behind on Virmire has plot armor as well they simply show up on Hoizon fight with Shepard then leave for th unknown.  At least you have an idea what Liara's doing but the VS.....nothing.  Though the VS gets more hate over Horizon then the plot Armor hate.

Now that's another topic I simply addressed it to make a fair comparison to Joker.  This guy has the ultimate plot armor on both ships others get blown up, hurt or killed.  One ship destroyed the other crashed and nothing happens to him at all, he never sees combat because of his disease yet impacts that jar the ship around doesn't even injure him.  His safety is the reason Shepard died yet everyone Loves Joker.  I guess Joker gets the ultimate plot armored cockpit, I never imagined sarcasm as a survival instinct.  Is anyone as untouchable as Joker ? 

Other then being voiced by Seth Green I see nothing good about Joker he might have been the best pilot in his class but I doubt he's unreplaceable.

Tell me about... I loved Seth Green as Oz on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.His VA work is very good as Jeff "joker" Moreo.But I didn't care for that character all that much in the first Mass Effect.I thought he was alright in ME2.But lately it has really bothered me how Joker seems to take no responsibility for getting not only Commander Shepard killed, but 20 other crewmates as well...

If you look at the footage of the first hit that the Normandy SR1 took from the Collector ship.Joker actually manages to evade enemy fire, but then for some reason or other he veers directly into thier line of sight.And Pressly is killed instantly from the blast. The Final Flight of the Normandy SR1 (2:30 - 8:00)

What Joker says here:

gone.The team was broken up, records sealed, and I was grounded.The Alliance took away the one thing that mattered to me.Hell yeah I joined Cerberus!

As far as I'm concerned.The little sh!t is lucky the Alliance didn't send him to a firing squad! When first playing Mass Effect 2.I was expecting to see Joker's fancy flight maneuvers save the day once more.
That didn't happen.The fact that Shepard decides to go and save him, even though Joker couldn't have been any closer to an Escape Pod.Just adds another degree of condemenation to him.But no Joker doesn't understand why the Alliance took his wings.He doesn't show any remorse.He doesn't take any responsibilty for all the blood that is on his hands.

In a way, I like how BioWare did the Prologue of ME2.Its good to see that even the best and brightest can have brain farts every now and then: just like anyone else... Joker makes mistakes and so to does Shepard.But BioWare needs to fix this in ME3.After going to the Normandy Crash Site to collect the Dog tags of the Fallen, and placing a Memorial at the site.In ME3 Joker and Shepard need to revisit this hollwed ground, and Jeff needs to come clean.And stop bs-ing, man up and act like a real human being for a change.And not just some two-dimensional: Hot-Shot Pilot/class-Clown...

Joker's death proof because SOMEONE needs to pilot the Normandy. Unless you wanna' hand the job over to Conrad and let him crash the entire group into a sun, I think it's a pretty good idea to keep Joker around. Also: he's funny.

This is my angry femShep.  She ticked off that she is with Cerberus.  She ticked off that Joker got her killed.  She is a very angry woman.  She's tempted to get rid of him.  And then EDI defended his smartass.
