Okay. I know the question has been asked here before due to google, but it was a year ago with no resolution, so I ask again for any tips.

For some reason, my mouse keeps lagging in game. If I click out of the game, the lag stops, so it's definitely related simply to the game. I have tried two different wireless mice with the same results. Restarting the game doesn't always help. Sometimes it does though. I have tried turning the graphics all the way down, which also doesn't help.

Fer craps sake. My computer rates a 5.9 Does anyone know why it's doing this!?

Read and follow the sticky that says "Read First". Do what it tells you to do; only then can anything but a WAG be suggested.

Mkay. Was just gonna ask customer support, but I'm having trouble logging in. I searched the forums as well. The only resolved ones I found involved problems I am 90% positive aren't mine (Some 100%, for example, I don't have Zone Alarm)

I have Ultimate Eddition

It's EA Digital Download

I have patch 1.04

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad  CPU   Q8200  @ 2.33GHz

RAM: 4GB

Display Adapter: ATI Radeon HD 5670
RAM: 512 MB
Diver Version: 6.0.1.6368

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

I don't have any third party mods as far as I'm aware.

And again, the description is as such:

Horrible mouse lag. Trying to target anything, from spells and tallents, the menu, items in the menu, characters, and enemies is a royal pain due to terrible lag. It only happens after the computer has been running for a while. It didn't do this until just the other day however. Restarting helps for a short time.

The computer is brand new and was built by a friends dad. The only thing I can think of that has changed is one of two things. A friend forced me to install League of Ledgends, and I downloaded and installed the free DLC items, such as the Edge from the DA:O Wiki.

If anyone things for some reason LoL is doing this, I will gladly uninstall. No interest. If it's the DLC items possible, how would I get rid of them? I dunno. Any tips are appreciated.

Also to note. The lag occures both windowed (My usual playing method) and full screen, and with or without graphics turned all the way down. When the game is windowed, if I shrink the screen to the task bar, the lag stops, so it's occuring only in game.

download SpeedFan from Cnet and set it up to monitor your cpu and gpu temps.
Acting up only after computer running awhile and helping only for short time after restart sounds like a heat issue. Many computers will start slowing down the processors when the temps get too high to save the system, making it lag and run slow. It may not be this issue but it is something that should be checked.

Thanks. I'll try that. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised. The heat that comes out of the back of my PC is pretty harsh when DA:O is running.

It may be related to an issue DAO seems to have with multi-core processors. It does fine with two core but displays memory-leak-like symptoms with more than that. Further details can be found in the solutions round-up thread pinned to the top of this forum (which should be your first stop for any tech issues with this game--the majority of known bugs with solutions have them linked there) along with detailed instructions to set core affinity to one or two cores. Your processor is more than capable of running the game with only one or two cores.
