Beta version, of course. The retail version certainly didn't have an obtainable Triforce or the Light Temple.
So you were dissapointed cause you had already played the 64 version. But for someone that hadn't, wouldn't this be a great purchace for the 3ds ?

ok well i hate to tell you this
greengoron89 but you just talked me into buying your worst game of the
year lol. I have never played the original or any other Zelda game for
that matter. I am starting off with a link to the past on snes and then
going to oot on the 3ds.
Thanks for the info man

I rather liked A Link to the Past, myself. Ocarina was my favorite once, but I've played and beaten it more times than I care to mention.

I suppose it would, but it still seems like a pretty lazy remake nonetheless. The least they could have done is update the soundtrack - those old MIDI tunes certainly don't complement the fancy new graphics very well, IMO.

It also lets you do a bunch of manly things like lift weights, slap boobs, smoke cigars, drink beer, and throw turds.

Excellent ideas....awful execution.
And the first who responds with "Haha, now you know what real RPG fans feel like when playing DAII!" will be punished. Horribly.

I'm a big Fan of Duke Nukem 3D, but after several years of waiting, i completely lost interest in Forever, because it would never meet a 10 years expectations, and i was not exited at all when it was announced that it would indeed be released last year.
And what i played in a Friends house was rather mixed..... There were some parts that were kinda fun, but others were AWFUL and some are incredibly stupid (Wall Boobs!??!?! WTF!?!?!), but, i haven't played it enough(and frankly, i don't think i will play it), so i can't really say, So........
For now, i'll have be extremely predictable and go with:

I didn't even bother picking up the Zelda:OOT remake. The Starfox 64 remake will likely disappoint too.
To be fair, I was greatly anticipating the remake (I'm a huge Zelda fan) - so my expectations were quite high. Once I realized that Nintendo had only improved the graphics and not much else, however, I was disappointed infinitely more than others probably were.
I've been a bit disappointed with the 3DS as a whole - it doesn't have a whole lot going for it in the games department at the moment. I'm hoping games like Resident Evil: Revelations and... whatever other the games the 3DS is supposed to have that are noteworthy, will change that.

Terrible atmosphere? Have you seen Duke's pad?! That place is amazing.
Doesn't mean the game has a great atmosphere.

Thor was actually good as was Harry Potter. Sure the gameplay has flaws but what's important is that they do a good job of capturing the spirit of the film's they're based on. For fan's of the respective franchise that is what really matters.
