I'm over 6', 250ish, and while I am called countless things, "weak" is rarely one of them. In high school I always got in trouble for running people over in gym class and generally being sarcastic and insensitive.  I was O-line for  six years before I gave up football (American football for the un-American ). I tell guys they aren't men if they've never gone home with oil-stained hands. Hell, mine are stained now.

And yet, I'm a nerd.

Why?

I've been called a walking dictionary/encyclopedia on countless occasions, I love the sciences, I'm blind as a bat, I'm going to have a Chemical Engineering degree in a year, I've always been a loner and antisocial, I love video games, I don't consume alcohol or other forms of willful self-impairment and don't have to much respect for those who do, and I consider a gf largely a waste of time and money at this point.  And I'm sure I could lengthen that list if I wanted to.

Why, you might ask? Would I trade that to be someone that spends 30 hrs a week at the gym? God no! We'll see how far those muscles get you when you're paying of school. Not very far, I'll bet. How far will one of those trashy ****s you met a club get you? See above.   How far will smoking all that weed get you? See above. All the alternatives to nerddom are just glorified self-righteous bull****.

Bottom Line:
I'm a ****ing nerd and ****ing proud of it. NERD POWER!:wizard:

Dude calm down. I was kinda joking, didn't mean to ****** you off. My humor is kinda sucky lol. You weren't in my targets. And I don't do drugs, or get drunk (I drink on occasion but not a lot) and I am muscular but not like a body builder or nothing. There is a difference between wanting to look fit(me) and bliving to work out (not me) And dude I'm married. And done paying off college. And I don't get how a gf is a waste of time. Thats how I met my wife and we're bestest buddies. But I get the money part...I spent so much money on birthday gifts. Then she exchanged them the next day.

Keep in mind I do not have much time to spare during the semester. My major consumed 50-60 hours a week last semester and I worked 15-20 hours a week on top of that. Not much time to spare. And when girls here I am a chemical engineer they expect me to be stacked, which I am not. Far from. The people I surround myself with are the people who I think can get the most work done, and done right.

Also, most of the women I'm around are she-engineers and most of them are, well, uh....

Ferociously opinionated, avaricious, condescending, over-competitive, bossy elitists? That and they drink like crazy. I try to be polite, helpful, and reasonable, but for the love of god carry your share or gtfo! There might be one decent person to every 10 pompous tramps. And in the Engineering building the male:female ratio is like 10:1. Some schools it's more like 20:1. And then I go to a different building-say, the education building or even the science-and they are all braindead and lazy as hell. Honestly,  I am speaking English!  The ones that think they are smart are often useless and  retarded and rather stuck up. The ones that know they aren't smart expect me to carry them. And I've degnerated into a rant.

Oh uh if she turns in the stuff you get her the next day.. well.. i dunno. I would always try to ask her friends what she wanted- that is, if I was on good terms with them. Which I rarely was. She would not be entirely honest and expect me to learn by osmosis what is up. Stay away from clothes (that was probably it-right?) and make it abundantly obvious you put time and effort into selection.  If you going to get jewelry the trick is to use boxes from a more high-end maker for the cheapest nonsense that looks like gold. Discretely appropriate the boxes after she opens the jewelry and make sure you vary up which brand.  Well, if you're married I guess you aren't quite as concerned about the financial element.

I had to go through a lot of stuck up jerks too until I got my wife (Elise) it took ssssssooooooooooo loooooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggg. But are you in like any clubs or anything? That might help with your girl issues, find someone with the same interests.

I'm a churchgoer but other than that no. I've been there long enough that most of the girls my age know have the sense to stay away from me:lol:. lol...

I sometimes joke around and tell people "the chemical engineering major is a jealous god and accepts no divided loyalties." Most people don't get it. Eh..

LA:Noire, fair enough but Deus Ex:HR? What is your problem with it? It was great and it rated highly with the critics.

Crysis 2 for me. I do acknowledge that the original was the bechmark for it's time and that's all it was(terrible story, flat characters etc.) and with Crysis 2 they didn't even try.

Catherine, pretty much what the OP said. The gameplay is well done but the story reeks of a typical anime story thrown in to explain your blocky adventures. How critics can praise it for it's "unique" story (lol im a god who wants to punish you naughty cheating men but will stop if you climb up blocks fast enough) and not get laughed at is beyond me.

Fear 3 oh *ahem* F.3.A.R. how rude of me. Not that I ever had high hopes for a game whose acronym was First Encounter Assault Recon but there have been exceptions of great sequels in mediocre franchises. I tried to play the first one back in the day when bullet time was the gimmick of the hour and that in turn is what I disliked most about it. I gave 3 a shot in hoping that somehow Wes Craven would shine and I'd get a nice startle or two. Instead I was walking around an asylum ripping buckets in half. Oh look a cutscene where they are beating children isn't that shocking? *thinks back to curb stomping babies in Dead Space*

As to the topic of this thread I don't personally make a habit of buying/playing bad games, but if we have to base it on games we have bought then i'd say the Witcher 2, not because it was a bad game but because it was dissapointing and over-hyped, I must say I wasn't very impressed with the first Witcher but the second game promised to be much better........ and apart from the nice graphics it wasn't.

Two Worlds II is the weakest game I've purchased this year. Combat is pretty decent but could be a lot smoother. The best part about the graphics is the outdoor areas and water. Character models range from okay to awful. Easy to notice their mouths often don't match the dialogue like a badly dubbed movie. The UI for the PC is one of the worst I have ever encountered. Parts of the game have a high level of polish but feels too rushed. Not bad but could have been a lot better.

the worst I've tried is warriors-legends of Troy which completely misses the tactical depth of the proper Dynasty/Samurai Warriors games (when played competently)
