So, I just finished the Orzammar quest line... the Brood Mother is dead, the king has a crown, etc etc etc. But, from a cut-scene I was really expecting to see a dragon. Did I miss something, or is there no dragon to be found?

No, the Archdemon left the Deep Roads after it rallied the Darkspawn in the trench. You'll get to see it later though.
