Turian Councilor: Ah yes, "Reapers" -DA one shots Harbinger- we've dismissed that claim.

That would be:

TOTALLY BADASS... I love it! :wizard:

If you save it, what do they do? They don't improve it or upgrade it seeing how it got it's ass kicked and completaly sorrounded in a matter of minutes with no chance of escape. No, they make it shiny again and send it on a victory trip to all major colonies, arrogantly waving they're dick around like children, showing how little they have learned, especially naive seeing they're goverment has been around for thousands of years and should be a wise one. Even more stupid is the fact that it was the Alliance who saved the Citadel, not the Citadel fleet, so I'd like to know what "victory" they're celebrating.

in the galaxy? Just wondering. It makes sense but I always sort of thought all the Dreadnoughts were more or less as good as the Destiny Ascension.

Personally I think it'll just stay at the Citadel as defense but maybe it will get called to leave the Citadel, doubt it
though. Just because of the Destiny Ascension not being prepared or in formation they couldn't stop Sovereign.

If the Destiny Ascension knew Sovereign was coming it could have positioned itself next to the
relay and when Sovereign comes out it would just fire at it from the right angle so it hits Sovereign and possibly instantly destroys Sovereign or greatly weakens him/it.

Volus Citizen: Don't kid yourself. Its even bigger than it looks.

Human Citizen: How would you know?

VC: I got a tour. One of five-hundred to see the Ascension from the inside out.

HC: Really?

VC: Took almost six hours and we only saw one-tength of the ship.I even got to meet the commander.

HC: Matriarch Lidanya? You met her?

VC: Well, she adressed everyone on the tour, but I got pretty close to her.

HC: Huh.Just look at that ship. You'd have to be stupid to mess with that!

VC: Very true. She's got almost as much firepower as the rest of the asari fleet combined.

HC: Hopefully... She'll never have to use it."

This is the  high caliber - of the  reputation that the Destiny Ascension has cultivated sense its creation. In Mass Effect 3, it needs to live up to it...

Seeing the Destiny Ascension in the Mass Effect 3 Launch Trailer (at 1:48 - 50)

Was totally unexpected... but highly appreciated :wizard:

Thanks BioWare... It looks like the DA is finally going to show its worth. How it was used during the Battle of the Citadel was shameful :pinched: They used the biggest, most powerful, awe-inspiring, fear-inducing warship in the known galaxy; as a Lifeboat. But in Mass Effect 3. She is a warship once more. ^_^

Wait? What? The Destiny Ascension survived? Irina got blamed throughout ME2 for letting it get blown up.

I get chills everytime I see the Destiny Ascension in the ME3 LT. Even though it does not exist any longer in my canon playthrough. But the multi-verse is a beautiful thing :P

I did actually go back to my ME 1 game over a year ago and Save the Council. In fact in the majority of my ME2 Save Imports, the Council was saved. But on my first playthrough, I thought it too big a risk to take. When Shepard and Co. had no idea what level of firepower would be required to take down Soveriegn.
