I've been playing with the rogue rebalancing mod for a while now and I must say its one of the best written mods out there. With that said the multi or dual Fighter/Thief always seemed like the most powerful assassin-type class you could play especially compared to the Assassin kit. But after playing the new Assassin a few times now using the rogue rebalancing mod, I think the Assassin kit is finally where it should of been to begin with. The revisions are excellent. Now if I'm looking to roleplay an assassin character I'll go with the Assassin kit finding it to be just as powerful as the Fighter/Thief but more unique. Just wondering if others have tried out the rogue rebalancing mod and what they thought of it in terms of changes made to thief classes.
Who's the better assassin now?

The Rogue Rebalancing mod is one of my favourites (alongside Spell Revisions). I really enjoyed the changes made to the Swashbuckler and Bounty Hunter classes too.
Played a team once with Montaron as an Assassin, Safana as a Bounty Hunter and Skie as a Swashbuckler, they were pretty unstoppable. Was really just an excuse to play all the new classes with the mod installed.
Have you got/heard of Song and Silence? Adds in a few interesting Thief and Bard kits, favourites being the Gypsy and Sharpshooter kits.

I agree. I think it is extremely well written and the author continues to update it even now which is awesome. The assassin has been my favorite class since the beginning. I just didn't think it was implemented real well. A fighter/thief, for all practical purposes was, better. The assassin kit really didn't come into its own till level 21+. Even then, it still struggled though it still was alot of fun to play though its more of a niche class. I think the RRM really fixes the class and makes it more unique. I haven't tried the other rogue-type classes yet but I will soon. Yea I've heard of the Song and Silence mod but I haven't tried it. I definitely will soon though. I hear good things about it.
