Wow, Femshep looks like she's 12. I thought they'd adjust her face for the final image. I was wrong, they followed the concept sketch too closely.

You're only saying that because she's not blonde.

Deal with it.

She'd look better blonde, oh well. They also need to lay off the comic book art style. Every Female is starting to look like a runway model.

Wow, the default Shepherd sure as hell doesn't look like she is in her 30's. You suck at this Bioware.

That's because she isn't.

Shepard's age in ME = 29
Shepard's age in ME2 = 31 (2 years of "mostly dead")

Shepard was dead at 29, burned up, splattered on the surface of a planet, and then what was left was frozen.
You're forgetting that Cerberus started with a small bag of meat. Shepard is mostly new tissue, I would call that a newly reborn Shepard.

Point 1: isn't that what low quality character creator is for?  I'm a bit confused as to what your point is there?

Point 2: What, you don't think that dodge rolls and new melee attacks and advances in traversing from cover to cover are 'diluting aspects of ME1' or adding depth?

Why am I stuck with low quality model if I want customization? My point was made in last page, freckles messes up everything to point that it won't be salvageable EVEN with mods and the majority of people voted against it.

Cover & health regen killed combat in ME2 by themselves, I'd elaborate further but it isn't the thread for that. Suffice to say that this FemShep topic was the only that could grab my interest since Bioware started making "press a button and something AWSUM happens" games.

First, that's like saying 'a mojority of the people didn't vote for Obama in the Democratic primary.'  Its a useless statement.  GingerShep got more votes in the second round of voting.  I doesn't matter that the other haircolors got more votes cumulatively.  You have to go with one canidate.

Cover was in ME1.  Its just easier to interact with in ME2.  Looks like they are adding even more ways to interact with it in ME3.  Looks like they are ADDING depth.  It just may not be in the direction you prefer.  Which is fine.  But it helps if we are truthful, no?

Which brings us to your last point.  Sounds like you are still hurt from missed expectations in Dragon Age 2.  It would likely help your outlook more if you kept those feelings seperate from this franchise.

Anyway.  Back to modding.  It sucks you will have to deal with freckled skin.  Get over it.  Its a GAME.  Its made to be played.  And the game is an action game.  Not Barbie Dress Up 2004.  If you are really that into messing with 3d models, get a programe made specifically for that purpose.  Right?

I hate to point this out, but that is an artists redition, not a 3d model of what she will look like in the game engine.

1+

No one should be going by the 2nd piece of art of how she will look like.

Also Femshep on the new Femshep shirts looks almost identical to the poll version of Femshep.

So because she's not blonde, you're going to hate on the new femshep? Weren't you one of the people complaining about all the hate on blondes?

That makes you a hypocrite.

I know that. But it's a finished illustration is it not? Is that going on the box? Not important really, but I'm allowed an opinoin on how she looks, and she looks like a little kid with dyed hair in armor.

Last time i checked age is detremed by date you were born, reguard less of how much time you spend in a hospital.

Not sure it will make it on the box, but the poll version most definitely will since it's the mirror version of Maleshep box art.

Shepard is 29 biologically, so he cheated 2 free years.

Good that is not your thing, but for others it is. And doing personal attacks is totally unecessary

Shep didn't 'spend time in a hospital.'  She died.  Dead.  She is now mostly cloned tissue and robot parts and whatever else TIM didn't tell us about.

I'd hardly call that 'spending time in a hospital,' no?

Hey, Bioware.
So, we basically got the femshep from ME and ME2 and but younger and with longer hair, right?
You need a real person to base the femshep off of right?
May i suggest Allison Scagliotti.

Repairing a human body doesn't make it younger or alter its age / aging process.

I'm not attacking him/her personally, just their choices.  The game was made to be interacted with in a certain way.  It was made to be played.  They can't fault a developer for not catering to a way it was not meant to be used.

You wouldn't expect a company that makes doors to anticipate people using them as sleds would you?  Sure, you can 'mod' a door to be a sled, but you shouldn't be pissed when the new model of doors isn't as easy to sled on.

Modding is all well and good but there is point where one just has to either be happy with the game or find something else.  Like I said, if a person is so into monkeying around with an avatar's face there are pleanty of games/programes that are better suited.

I made the 'Barbie' joke to show how silly this argument is.  Mass Effect is an ACTION RPG.  It has priorities that are focused on action and gameplay.  Not Shep's face.

I've seen women with natural hair that red.  It's not common.  Just like 'platinum blonde' its hard to find in nature.  But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist?

And so what if Shep died her hair?  Maybe she was tired of her natural auburn and wanted something a little different?

Oh my god people! That one isn't an official render! It's Art! Sure by someone Bioware hired, but still art! Do any of the ME2 characters look like those squad posters that came out??
If you want what she really looks like and what will be on the box art just look at the render used in the voting process. Geez.

If it's fan art, then I'm off base. I thought it was done by Bioware.

Well, i've had a family member "dead" (Guillain–Barré syndrome) for years being kept alive by "machines".
After nearly 2 years of "dead" they made a recovery.
Age listed on all documents were continuous.
