And I'm happy to report that for the first time in any Mass Effect game you can TRULY kill enemies without firing a shot as an Adept and not feel like you are sacrificing efficiency. The power/weapon weight system is a great addition, and really balances your potential damage output, letting you focus on mainly powers, mainly weapons, or a balance of the two.

Yeah, I didn't want multiplayer going in; but I'm hooked now.

They've done a great job balancing the weapons and powers this time around.  My Adept is packing a scoped Phalanx pistol and a Tempest SMG and I'm still slinging down warp with a 2 and a half second cooldown.

BTW a simple question, is it possible to set up warp explosions by using just liara. Meaning if im a soldier can liara set up explosions on her own? Also another query, how to build liara properly once the game is out, power wise as i admit i suck at biotics so a lil help would be nice

I also was not a fan of MP coming to ME3. . .but my mind is changed , its a great add on . . .i play soldier most times and have to say CS is great ,soldier is not a spam only AR class now. . .

You can have Liara do her own warp bombs . . .i play soldier and I would have her throw a singularity. . .as long as it was still going her warp could detonate it

PERFECT!!! Another question what is the cooldown on stasis. Also singularity, for the explosion can i target just the sigularity or does it need a dude floating due to the singularity?

I never paid attn to stasis cooldown . . . But with the singularity as long as its active I had her throw a warp into and it exploded the trooper that was stuck in it had died by Garrus but the explosion gave a knock back effect to the others close nuff near it

Ugh, I've been trying like f***ing mad to get a Salarian in MP just so I can find out what the hell Energy Drain's correct evolution Ranks are, but no such luck (also been trying for a Quarian, too, but haven't got her either).... Got a Asari Adept, a Turian Sentinel, a Drell Vanguard, and a Krogan Soldier, but still no Salarian or Quarian in sight. :pinched:


Also:
- Overload freaking rocks as well, especially if you evolve it to jump from multiple enemies and with the "Neural Shock" 5th Rank (which incapacitates organic enemies without protections)

- Carnage is a lot of fun.... and highly messy, should you kill the target with it :blink:

Really lovin the Vanguard's Nova Charge Nova and repeat combo! And Carnage Krogan is berserk! I think this was the only time I enjoyed every class in a Mass Effect game. Hurry up March!

This.
I've done a few runs with an Engineer and a Sent and Overload was my go to power, it seems to stun even without the Neural Shook evo and does a fair bit of damage even to organics. I can not wait to get my Engineer or Sent (I just can't decide) rolling again.

Had someone check the demo's data files for any powers of the Secret Squadmate #2 (can we start saying who the secret squadmates are, especially since they've now been revealed in the new artbook?), and he found some data on Slam and a new power called Dark Channel that the character has:

So Dark Channel is another biotic damage power? It looks like maybe it slows the enemy down while they are being damaged, so warp makes them more vulnerable to damage, reave makes you less vulnerable to damage, and dark channel controls movement speed maybe.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, and it would give them a little bit of a difference that might help them each to play to different strategies, depending on how pronounced these differences are. I wonder if any of them will be different enough to make it useful to take either reave or dark channel as a bonus for sentinel or adept. with the new cobo system comboing two damage powers together may produce an extremely powerful detonation.

Rank 2 -  increase recharge speed by 25% when armor is purged

Rank 3 -  increase melee damage bonus by 20% when armor is purged

Rank 4 -  increase damage protection by 15% OR increase melee damage bonus by 30% when armor is purged 

Rank 5 -  increase shield recharge rate by 15% OR increase power damage and force by 20% while Fortification

Rank 6 -  reduce power speed penalty by 30% OR increase damage protection by 10%


Carnage

Sorry but looks like the Guardian got killed (probably by flanking gunfire) at the same time as Concussive Shot hits the shield, causing him to drop it. You have to use Biotics to take away the shield from the front.


Yep, directing concusion shot on top of their head from above makes them drop the shield thou.

Ok, since BioWare as now announce it, I think we can now start referring to Secret Squadmate #2 as the Prothean.

I don't know cause I actually don't have the demo's extracted datafile, but it sounded like (from the person I talked to) that he couldn't tell because of how the Powers data is listed since it seems like it's not organized by character.... it's mostly probable that his remaining powers will be 'regular' Biotic powers that Liara or Kaidan don't have (like Pull, Throw, or Shockwave).

I'm also trying to find out if the power "Biotic Focus" that was previously found in the leaked script (which we originally thought was his) was still listed in the data or not.... it may have been just an early power that later got scrapped, like Infiltrator's Lockdown or Adept's Overpower.

I've got the artbook and while I've tried to avoid looking at the ME3 section for the most part, I couldn't resist looking at the section on the squadmates since I already knew who they were.

The character design for Secret Squadmate #2 is pretty cool looking in my opinion.  Although I'm not sure how I feel about the design for secret squadmate #1

AVPen, do you happen to have the base values on these?  Unfortunately I don't have these characters unlocked in MP yet so I can't look.  Also, sounds about right to me for us to start referring to the spoiler squadmate #2 as the Prothean.  That was pretty much the worst kept secret of all time haha.
