Well, I'm glad that they took it away from Liara and made her powers less focused on throwing people around.

That said, I don't really have a problem with it. For all the things people in Mass Effect can do, the biotic grenades isn't the weird ones.

Plus, I always wanted Pull or something like it for the Sentinel.

I just remembered there's that power in the leak titled "Biotic Focus." I don't think it's a squadmate passive, so it's probably a bonus power. Maybe that's why they took away Overpower, because Biotic Focus works in much the same way and we can just choose to take it as our bonus power. In that case, I am ok with the decision. Still think all grenades should be bonus powers as well because they are finite (or equipment), but w/e.

why doesnt an adept, ALREADY HAVE the best biotic abilities? arent barrier, warp ammo, and stasis kindof essential biotic abilities?

dont the devs think wed like fiddling around with our abilities choices, just as much as they are currently fiddling with thir power selection? there isnt just one adept, but thats all we get, is biowares one adept.

Thanks for the info Mass.  Do you happen to have a source?  I only remember reading the list of powers in the leak, I didn't see any descriptions.

If it's not too much trouble can you give us any more info on the powers revealed in the leak? Just the standouts or interesting examples. I realize that there might not be much point to it as much of this is obviously subject to change, but any tidbits would be appreciated.

I got that from the script as well.

I'm not certain if it can boost Shepard's powers in the same way, but it probably will.

Oh, and if we're going by the script, Stasis can be evolved to form a bubble that immobilizes any target that passes through it or to simply explode at the end of its duration and slow down all nearby enemies.

Another evolution gives it the ability to drain the target's health and shields too.

Shockwave can be evolved to seek out nearby enemies or to lift them up for a short time.

It appears that the Tactical Cloak can be turned on and off and gives you a boost to weapons, powers and melee attacks but the cooldown will increase the longer you're cloaked.

Don't take any of it for granted, though.

Very interesting.  I heard about the lift version of Shockwave before, and the Tactical Cloak stuff.  Hadn't heard about Stasis or Biotic Focus.  Did I read a different version of the script than you?  And if so would you mind PMing me the version you have?

I see Marksman is back do any of you guys know how it works ,is the same as its ME1 version or is it a power used in MP since AR can't be used in MP . . . ?

Looks like they hadn't decided on the evolutions for Marksman at the time, because I can't find any evolution for it.

It's pretty much like the one in ME1.

If I'm reading that list right, it sorta sounds like the Bonus power that you selected in ME2 might also kept in ME3? :?
(unless some of those Bonus Powers, like Geth Shield Boost, Dominate, etc,  are for the former squadmates/NPC characters)

Doood, when the demo is out - you're going to have work on your hands (if you're going to update this thread).

I, personally, would love a full compilation of confirmed abilities when the demo is released. :) But if it's too much work - tis ok.

I wish that were the case, but in all likelihood we won't be able to pick our class in the demo; it will probably be the default male Soldier.  I hope this isn't the case, but if it is then the only way I will be able to update the power details for the other classes would be if Bioware releases the information.

Maybe the MP versions. I seriously doubt we'll get to play all SP classes in the demo (which is supposed to be released very soon) when Bioware are still adding/removing/changing the basic power layout of (some) classes.

Well, they've just dropped Amplification on the Sentinel and gave them Pull grenades or whatever instead. This is a rather bad sign imho, I'd have expected they only had to fine-tune all abilities at this point, but apparently they didn't got the basics right.

Releasing a MP demo also makes more sense because, with MP, balance (between) classes is everything. This isn't really important for the SP version of the game.
