I don't know if it's really an additional or second layer of Armor over his/her shields - it could simply be a reduction to all damage inflicted for a certain amount of seconds (which is what the description makes it sound like).


Also, trying to find additonal info on the grenades like Biotic, Lift, and Sticky Grenades is a major pain in the @ss - those are less organized than the other powers and the naming conventions are all over the map (Biotic grenade is Cluster, Lift grenade is still Lift Orb, vice versa). The 2nd rank for all grenades seems to be Max Grenade (increases the number of grenades that you carry), while the 3rd rank is Damage (increases grenade damage by x%) , but trying to decipher where and what the remaining evolutions are for each is pretty damn impossible with how the script is organized.

I did find these descriptions, however:
Cluster/Biotic Grenade:  A cluster of grenade fragments that creates a biotic blast that tosses enemies around violently, causing a massive amount of damage. Highly effective against shield/barrier.

Lift Grenade:  Detonates a biotic grenade that does a massive amount of damage and briefly lifts all nearby targets, leaving them vulnerable to attack.

Sticky Grenade:  An explosive grenade adheres to your enemy, violently mangling them after a brief period of time.




Sounds like Sticky grenade may work a bit like the Plasma grenade from Halo, I wonder if enemies will panic when its stuck to them like in Halo . . . .Posted Image

Found the Vanguard's version of Fitness while I was searching for something else (still listed as Fortitude in the script, btw):

Fitness (Vanguard
2nd Rank
Durability   Adds x% to health bonus and barrier bonus.

3rd Rank
Melee Damage   Adds x% to melee damage bonus.

4th Rank
Melee Damage   Adds x% to melee damage bonus. 
OR
Durability   Adds x% to health bonus and barrier bonus. 

5th Rank
Martial Artist (originally called Melee Spree)    x% increase to melee damage for x seconds when an enemy is killed by a heavy melee attack.
OR
Fast Regeneration   Reduces the time before your barrier recharges by x%

6th Rank
Melee Synergy   Adds x% to melee damage bonus. x% increase to recharge speed of the next biotic charge when an enemy is killed with heavy melee.
OR
Durability   Adds x% to health bonus and barrier bonus.


I'll finish up on the remaining Tech Powers evolutions tomorrow.

I don't want devastating I want a biotic power.  If I wanted to throw grenades I'd play a soldier or a vanguard or something that is more of a combat class instead of a biotic class.

Almost forgot, but here's the missing 5th and 6th Ranks for the Soldier's version of Fitness:

5th Rank
Martial Artist (originally called Melee Spree)   x% more melee damage for x seconds when an enemy is killed by a heavy melee attack.
OR
Shield Recharge   Reduces the time before your shields start recharging by x%.

6th Rank
Melee Synergy    Adds x% to melee damage bonus. Increases weapon damage by x% for x seconds when an enemy is killed with a heavy melee attack.
OR
Fitness Expert   Years of rigorous combat experience grants an additional x% health bonus and shield bonus.

Hey im with you on that, I was pissed off when I found out they replaced Overpower with Biotic Grenades. But this late in game development, chances are we will have to just live with the Grenades. I was just pointing out that the Biotic Grenades sound devastating.

Who knows maybe the Cluster/Biotic Grenades will be something cool, like the Cluster Shock Grenades in infamous. They could even right in some lore like for the Adepts using the Grenades.

Just trying to be optimistic.

Lol firstly, thats not saying somethings wrong with you, just that reading your upbeat post reminded me of a guy being optimistic right before something got a hold of him, second Is that my favourite class is Adept so I've been annoyed since ME2 came out.

Third, I'm not liking the fact that we don't have detailed information on the Adept class and if its going to be equall to the other classes.

It's not like biotics are that hard to replicate in an artificial form, anyway.

The Blackstorm imitates a biotic singularity. If that can be done, I think they can do something like the biotic grenades.

To balance it out.

Most other classes have some form of grenade power.

Engineer has the sentry turret, Soldier has the frag grenades, Infiltrator has sticky grenades and Sentinel has the biotic grenades. I'm not sure about the Adept and Vanguard, but from the sounds of things, the Vanguard doesn't need any grenades.

Yea, Adept was one of my favorite classes in ME1, but BioWare neutered the Adept in ME2, hopefully the Adept will be risen to its former glory in ME3, but im beginning to dougt thats going to happen.

Yeah, not sure If one of the guys testing the game HAD to switch from Soldier to Adept and said to BW "you know what would be cool, to throw a grenade that does something like explode with biotic force" Posted Image....

When I play Adept I want to focus on abilities only with out being handicaped because I'm forcing myself not to use guns. 

I guess we're a bit of a minority because I prefer stats and large skill lists like Neverwinter Knights 2, ME 3 story will be good depending on how they sell me SOV's suicide attack on the citadel.  Gameplay, well if they focus so much on shooter then that can only mean they don't care about a ability based class like Adept... sorta feels like ME2 just threw it on at the end likePosted Image"guys, we forgot Adepts", ME3 seems like the exact same thing has happened Posted Image"Overpower will take too much tweeking to get right" some random idiot Posted Image"grenades.... we'll give them biotic grenades that explode with the force of the awesome button"Posted Image

So there it is.....even though not much is known at this time it is extremely clear to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Infiltrator is by far the best class to play as in ME3 period.

 In suggesting that biotics are easy to replicate with tech, you were making a lore point

 Last Vizard replied with a lore question, you then made a gameplay point

 Hence this doesn't really fit together

If biotics were able to be replicated by non-organics, I can promise you that the heretic Geth would certainly have developed it by now to help them at defeat organic races. There's no way they wouldn't weaponize biotic power if they had that option. The fact that they haven't tells me it can't be done.

And before someone says husks can, I will remind you that they are still part organic. Without the organic parts left, they couldn't do it. Geth have nothing organic about them.

Man a whole line of melee-centric evolutions for Fitness! That's wussup. I hope all classes get those, not just Soldier and Vanguard, so I can turn any class into a CQC beast.

And if it is just those I hope they change the Vanguard's heavy melee from that lame punch I've seen floating around as a gif here. The Adept's is so much cooler.
