I've also noticed that squadmates have 5 slots, there's any info about them getting a new "loyalty" or bonus power?

Yes but on the power wheel, they have 5 active power slots.

"You do not keep your bonus power from ME2. However #ME3 squad mates will offer a whole new set to discover and play with."

So does 100% increase in recharge = 50% reduction in recharge time?

Yep. 12 secs. becomes 6 secs.

pretty much. So say if Liara's Singularity cooldown was originally at like 12 seconds, taking that upgrade would put her's down to 6.

I got ninja'd

Speaking in percentages, I'm wondering how differents percentages stack up; for exemple, if I have a 8s cooldown and I get two differents bonuses, let's say -50% and -25%, will I get a 2s cooldown (ie. -75% of 8s) or a 3s cooldown (ie. -50% of 8s and then -25% of 4s) ?

OT: Sorry mate, but Batman don't need snipers, or any gun for that matter, to be Batman.

Anyway I wonder if temporary squadmates from ME1/2 will have 2 bonus powers. If they do then it'll take alot of imagination from Bioware this time.

How long have you two been fighting over this? LOL! First I remember, it was on last November.

On topic, I like how powers for all classes are shaping up. Seems to me I will go for maximum damage when playing Normal and maximum recharge speed when playing Hardcore or insanity. Of course, it all depends on the final amount of points we can acquire by level 60. Thanks to the ones who make this thread possible.

From a recent mostly re-confirming tweet as of I think 2 days ago its still 178 total skill points by lvl 60. That is exactly enough to max out 8 skills 'and' have 10 points left over to bring the last one up to rank 4. or max 7, and have 2 at rank 5 with 1 point left over.

Which feels like to much to me but oh well. Not to much different then ME1-2 in that. And there are A LOT more ways to evolve powers so lots of mix/matching to do. So even if you can get every power how you evolve each one can paint things in interesting ways.

we can max 8 skills???? damn thats way too many skills.

alteast for me, i only care about having 3 active abilities(via my 3 hotkeys) maxxed, so hopefully i can invest the entirety of my remaining points into passives. i just dont care about having abilities that arent on my hotkeys, im sure alot of console players feel the same. so maximizeing throw, pull, and shockwave would be pointless for players that dont rely on pause and play power wheeling, which i feel like is the majority of console players anyways.

not sure why theres only 3 hotkeys in the first place.

Yeah I agree spammy. I think for my Vanguard I'll be keeping Shockwave (if the new version doesn't suck) and Nova on my bumpers. Probably use Barrier as my bonus power as all armor powers are things you can turn on/off so there's no point to bind it, just like ammo powers.

Which is another reason I like Vanguard, ammo powers which means no point to bind. Though I'll have to use the radial to use pull. But I never really used pull in ME2, or Slam for that matter except on husks. And since there getting rid of the 'everything gets armor or shields' for harder difficulties I don't have to worry about that crap anymore - Shockwave the bastards!

I agree with you on the hotkeys part. It is one of the worst aspects about ME games. And the fact they had the chance to add more hotkey options for ME3, but didn't, makes it even worse. There were numerous threads about this, since ME2 came out, but I guess noone really cared, except us the gamers.
And now every class is getting an extra ability, wich makes the console control scheme really sub-par. Why the devs from Bioware fail to listen to reasonable fan requests like adding more hotkeys to the controls, is beyond me.

The lack of hotkeys is the reason I'm actually excited about using Kinect playing ME3. I can still access my unmapped powers with pausing.

The down-side being that there is about 2-3 seconds of delay, between the point where you are finished giving the voice command, and the point where the action is being executed in-game.
2 seconds is enough for an enemy character to move from an open position to taking full cover where the issued action might not be effective anymore.
Example: you see a moving Cerberus trooper out in the open and yell out "Concussive Shot", and by the time your Shep fires out a Concussive shot (2 seconds later), the Cerberus trooper is already taking cover. Result: you just wasted a Concussive Shot.
Not to mention trying to use a squadmates power in one of those "O sh!t" moments, where you are about to get killed and you really need an instant panic button to get out of a bad spot. Trying to issue a voice command there will most certainly result in death.
While the Kinect commands might be "fun" and semi-useful on lower difficulties, they will be completely unreliable and useless on higher ones. Except maybe for turning on ammo powers on begining of a mission.

2-3 seconds is an exaggeration.

Well I don't mind at all using the power wheel, I'll do it to give order to my squad anyways so I'll use it for my Shep as well.

Besides for my Adept playthrough I'm planning to use all my active powers, I'm not going to limit myseft because there is only 3 hotkeys.

Take a good look at those Kinect promo videos and judge for yourself, if it's an exaggeration or not. There is a relatively huge gap between the voice command and the in-game execution. It's big enough to make the gimmick useless for higher difficulties.

I watched the videos multiple times and I didn't see anything that was even more then 1 second. I think people are just seeing what they wanna see.

Because I said Batman snipes, right? Lol you're the master of reading comprehension, bro.

And as for cloaking, if the technology to turn invisible was readily available for Batman to use, of course he would lmao. Or do you really think he'd limit his stealth capabilities to perching on gargoyles in the darkness and flinging some smoke bombs? Lolol I feel like Chris Nolan arguing with Joel Schumacher here.

/offtopic bs for good. Not responding to some nonfan about my favorite character of 20+ years now.

Anyone know how we're gonna be able to unlock bonus powers this time around yet? Have they revealed anything about that? I want Marsksmanship and Fortification without having to spend too much time with those jarheads in my squad.

Yup, you said it yourself.
If that delay is fine by you and won't interfere with your gameplay, then I'm happy for you and wish you all the best in saving the galaxy once the game comes out. :)
As for me, I will stick to the insta-effects of the controler buttons, instead of the unacceptable laggy Kinect commands. And I've seen enough proof in that video to know what is (un)acceptable for my style of gaming. But hey, that's just me.
