I think it went that way.   There's one by Garrus on Tuchanka, can't remember exactly what he said but apparently it wasn't fun to blow through a hospital.

Garrus answered something about a garden and not sure what else. That was the first time I heard that.

Another that raised the eyebrows was on Illium, Hotel Azure when Shep asked what kind of hotel it was and Liara explained. They named a hotel after whatever that is?
