The ideal Paragon/Neutral choice for the Rachni Queen decision would be to keep her in a restricted area under close surveillance by the Alliance/Council military until it could gradually be determined that it's safe to let her go and even then they should still keep close tabs on her.

Releasing her into the "wild" unsupervised is EXTREMELY dangerous and downright foolhardy considering that at the time she doesn't even offer any future assistance. Even though I had "renegade" reasons for letting her go it's the decision I have the biggest reservations about from ME1.

Absolutely!....this would be a brilliant solution.

Out of curiousity Seboist, what is your renegade reasoning for releasing her?

I wanted the Rachni as a human ally against the "reapers and beyond".

LOL......Of course, how could I not guess that....:D

It's the same with the Krogans and why I kept the genophage data. My Shepard plans on building a human-led coalition of non-citadel aliens in order to launch "Operation Galactic Storm" against the three council races. :D

God help us all in the world of Seboist's ME universe....:P....:D...Though I gotta agree on one little point...The big three in power does sh*t me...I'm thinking maybe for entirely different reasons though...:)

Kinda feel bad for him, the universe he is expecting and the universe he's gonna get are drastically different...

Nice little thread on how the new council should work,if it does come to that.

But I think you've already seen it...

Ah, it's these special little moments that make BSN worth it.

That and the ever present fanrage.

Maybe not every renegade player, but at the very least the Cerberus zealots.

My ME universe is the best one.

Here's the highlights,

* My Shepard will have become Mrs.Harper and co-leader of Cerberus

* Harbinger will be transformed into the Normandy SR-3

* The council will consist of human, vorcha, krogan, geth and quarian.

* The Blue Suns (now run by my Shepard's ex-bf Zaeed) are a Cerberus affiliate

* The Blood Pack (now run by Shisk) will become the new C-Sec

* All the human traitors like Anderson,Hendel Mitra, Kahlee Sanders, VS,etc will have been lynched from the tallest redwood in California.

My ME universe is the best one.

Here's the highlights,

* My Shepard will have become Mrs.Harper and co-leader of Cerberus....OWL: Who needs God, when you have these two in power...:o....Sorry, reference to prayer thread there...:P

* Harbinger will be transformed into the Normandy SR-3....OWL: Harbringer approves?....

* The council will consist of human, vorcha, krogan, geth and quarian....OWL: Quarians seem a very odd mix in there, why Quarians?...

* The Blue Suns (now run by my Shepard's ex-bf Zaeed) are a Cerberus affiliate.....OWL: Blue Suns are going to shrink enormously without all those Batarians...but I'm sure Zaeed would approve...^_^

* The Blood Pack (now run by Shisk) will become the new C-Sec...OWL: Now that's just becoming really disturbing....:crying:...But I s'pose that just means 'everybody loves them and everbody hates them' can do so on the Citadel too....Brings a whole new meaning to who's for dinner......^_^

* All the human traitors like Anderson,Hendel Mitra, Kahlee Sanders, VS,etc will have been lynched from the tallest redwood in California....OWL: I LOVE Hendel........Noooooo....:(

It doesn't matter if Harbigner approves, he "bends" to my Shepard's will. :D

As for the Quarians,Tali is my Shepard's BFF and has a soft spot for 'em because of that.

Yeah, I have them all. I really enjoyed Ascension for it's insight into the Quarians and even though they're my favorite aliens I was rooting for Cerberus at the end.

That uh.... can be arranged I guess. They wouldn't compare to the main man that belongs to my Shepard though.

Pft, mine is superior.
  • The Council will only be human, there will be no arguments amongst the Council while lives are threatened. The Council will control the universe, whether they like it or not, and lives will be saved while the foolish previous Council would argue petty politics and peace.
  • The Illusive Man will be given resources from the Alliance and the Citadel, sort of like it is now except nobody's actively working against them. Zaeed and his Blue Suns (which will be funded by the Alliance / Council) will operate as the clean up crew for any experiments that might go wrong.
  • The Vorcha will operate as special forces to deal with indoctrinated individuals throughout the Galaxy, given mostly toxic gases and things that would provide them with the means of taking out entire buildings which their body can adapt to.
  • Any non-special forces Vorcha will be forced to operate on toxic planets, operating and mining materials for the Alliance / Human Council. In exchange, they'll be provided with comfortable Vorcha quarters and supplied with dining and entertainment (as they do have some care for quality of life).
  • The Krogan will operate under a dictatorship under Wrex's control (with the Genophage still in place) shall be kept under tight knit control by Human and Salarian Scientists, any Krogan or non-Krogan who supplies funds to cure the Krogan shall be eliminated. Wrex will be provided supplies and means to keep enemy clans from rising up against him.
  • The Collector Base will be extensively studied by Liara + Miranda with Cerberus and all technology gained shall be held firmly under Human control, any other species (except Salarians, who'll be in the Human's pocket) must claim permission from the Council to study Reaper tech. Any illegal research will be met with quick and brutal justice.
That's ignoring all other sorts of goodness, like manipulating the Turian government and placing Garrus in a position of power or the strip-mining of Eezo from Thessia!

Edit: Forgot one! The Dyson Sphere will be turned into a Council-controlled super computer / weapon which will have restrictions in place to stop them from claiming sentience.

You have great plans for the Vorcha Dave. It's good to see another great thinker see the value the Vorcha will have as a human client race.

They've got some unique abilities which are extremely undervalued by the average person, they're the perfect race for dealing with any toxic substance or large groups (provided we're capable of gassing them) provided we're capable of keeping control of them.

Better to use them that benefits the galaxy than leave them to die on their dead planet or killing each other, though we wouldn't want any uprising from them (which is why quality of life is installed).

Hell, I'm wondering if they can be indoctrinated. Would their body be capable of adapting to indoctrination and "repair" it?

The Vorcha would also be useful for terraforming planets for other species as well.

Whether or not they can adapt against indoctrination is a good question. One of my vague hopes is that BW will give them a bigger role in the story by revealing they can adapt against it, thus making them the ideal shock troops for battling their husk armies.
