Pointing out what's wrong IS the point of a open-minding critic. The goal is to see what worked well AND WHAT DIDN'T.
It's tragic that people can't distacne themselves from theri beloved series/book/game and judge it objectively.

One SHOULD be harsh critic - especially towards the thing one likes. Introspection/criticism is the key to further improvement. For every game/series I like, I can present to y you a detailed and long list of everything that's wrong with it - probably more things that you even though where there.
There is no shame in liking things that have flaws - even if they have many flaws. As long as you can go over those flaws or consider the good parts outweigh the bad, it's all good. But denying the flaws is just childish.

Dude... Point out flaws is NOT insulting. Can't you tell the difference?
Smudboy does tend to over-analyze a tad, but for the most part he's right on the money (I'd say I agree with 80-90% of what he said). And he argues his points well, with good arguments and explanations.

Most of his opponents really have no good counter arguments other than "well yeah, it's jsut your oppinion" and "you suck".

Also, while over-analyzing is bad, under-analyuing is even worse.

Except he doesn't spew garbage. He over-analizes a few parts, and sure, you can question his words and call him out on it.
But how and why you do it is important.

Your own words are so emotionally charged that you cannot claim being impartial. It's clearly a lie.

Frankly, smudboy comes of way more civil, collected and packs better arguments than you.

It's like joining the discussion about the Green Lantern movie, complaining it sucked, and when pressed to explain why you say you didn't like the Green Color and you fell asleep after the first 5 moinutes of the movie.

I think what HT/Rockworm/Mass are getting at is that presentation is kind of important for a critic. Similar to how you might not value what a film critic says if his review has several spelling mistakes. It doesn't make them wrong, it just means that you don't really want to argue/analyse/care about what they have to say.

Personally, I think the whole music/voice combo gives the video some sort of pseudo-intellectual vibe that is very entertaining.

Worship? I just watched his videos and i agree with him. How is that worship?

There's several people just saying "Smudboy needs to die" and when you try to ask why he apparently needs to die, and where he is wrong, you get labeled a Smudboy worshipper.

Really.... There is little point debating with you.
You're butthurt, ignorant fanboy who labels anyone as "ass-kisser" or "hater" if they disagree (Yes, I do realise the hypocrisy in this sentance and I don't care, my patiance has limits).

There is nothing to debate.  Smudboy is perfect in every way and I am going to hell for even suggesting otherwise.
