dreman9999, i told you yesterday not to bother posting anything until YOU understand what a retcon is. You making **** up about what a retcon is doesn't cut it. Google it, read it, and try to understand. Then maybe search some examples in other games or movies. And when you finally get it, then come back here with your new found knowledge.

A retroactive continuity is when you're erasing or replacing pre-existing facts about characters, plots, events or any other item and/or pretend like the outcome was different or it didn't happen at all.

I have yet to see anything in ME2 that does this in a crystal clear way.

Oh i'll give you one of the top of my head. Shepard knowing what thermal clips are. Thank you.

Liara. I have never seen another character as inconsistent in any other piece of fiction.

Nagging on gameplay mechanics.

That's weak. Would rather have him know about it from the start than Cerberus explaining it for him for about fifteen minutes, which accomplishes nothing at all.

Or...maybe he read the Codex.;)

Next.

No they didn't, they blew up the ship and left. Then a long time later they ask the shadow broker. WHY NOT GO DIRECTLY DOWN TO THE PLANET.

Because there's a live distress beacon broadcasting the crash site's position on Alliance channels, which means that the Alliance will arrive at any minute?

Durrr, think bad. Bash good.

Yeah, because 15 minutes of talking is boring, mostly about talking and shooting. Wait, what are you saying? Are you saying that the Bioware fans are so dumb they get bored with someone explaining what thermal clips are to shepard?

Or it's simply because his armor protected his body (the crash still broke every bone in his body) against the heat (the armor has layers which protects against extreame heat) and the force of the crash.

Bioware wrote ME more like a movie. They wanted it to be a cinematic experience. They talk at length about it.

They've based a lot of this on metrics they've collected about how many people finish a conversation or even finish a game. Most long games have very few players complete them. ME2 actually had a comparitively high pecentage of people listen to all the conversations and finish the game.

I understand that you would prefer an old-style RPG, where you could listen to HK-47 talk for an hour about random topics but that is not the game Bioware made with ME - on purpose.

They couldn't find it, perhaps?

Jesus Christ, are you guys even able to think about the most basic outcomes other than "DEEEEEEEERP, retconz plotholes"?

Only up to the point. I kinda doubt you can do an atmosphereic re-entry. Armor  or not, you'll cook alive inside. Even space-shuttles, whos' whole putpose is to go trough and use THICK ceramic plates, have trouble coping with it.

Lotion is just a first class troll, ignore him. His responses are pure insult almost every time.

But on the point of entry into the atmosphere, it entirely depends on the velocity on which he entered. Remember, the extreme heat that we see with spacecraft and meteors is because those objects were moving very fast. If you simply took someone to the top of our atmosphere and dropped them, you wouldn't see them burn up.

Yes, but not planetary re-entry.

Guess what. The armor had ceramic plates too.

And yes, he was cooked alive inside, but his remains were salvageable.

Cooked alive = dead cells. Brain melt. Non-revivable

And unless it haas ceramic plates that are 10" thick.....

So if we make the assumption that Shepard's body is intact (which it shouldn't be). How would an oxygen deprived brain be able to retain memories of who the person previously was?

Since talking about thermal clips adds nothing to the story, while there's a Codex entry, then yes. It'd be a spectacular waste of time.

Just because I don't want to hear it doesn't make me dumb. I don't want to listen or read every single Codex entry there is either, since I think it's just a waste of time too, unless there's a topic that interests me and I want to know more about it.

Then again, I am talking to you, who apparently suffers from a severe case of superiority complex, and you think you're better than everyone else, while in reality, you can't form a single solid argument.

Plus, if I remember correctly, he was blown towards the planet at explosive velocity.

You're suffering from delusions too? That's bad. You ough to seek help for that.

And if I'm a fanboy, then you're a trolltard, which makes your arguments (or what you claim to be arguments) invalid by default.
