Yeah its a nice interview. I gave it a watch yesterday.  I love how enthusiastic she is about femshep and her job in general.  It goes really well with how she delivered her interview on Bioware Pulse yesterday.

Its great to have a Voice Actor so committed to the character she portrays. Leaves you buzzing with confidence that she going to give her best performance ever in ME3.  She certainly looks and sounds 110% committed to it!

Go Jen!! :)

I've been a fan of hers since I was a kid.

She also seems to get roles as characters like Shepard, which is incredible.

I've been a fan of hers for so many years but never actually knew who she was until Mass Effect. It was only the that I learned her name and thought to myself: "Wow... I've heard her in soooo many things over the years and never even realized it."

I geek out anytime there's an article or interview with her, I admire her work greatly and she's the reason I'm breaking my rule about not playing MMOs (dislike them) to play Star Wars the old Republic and play as a female trooper since she voices that character... so Bioware can thank her for my purchase of that game and at least a few months subscription just because they gave her a lead role as one of the classes ^_^

Though I'm not a huge fan of Meer, I still appreciate his work and really wish he did interviews like Hale does... she's so active about letting her fans know what she thinks and feels about her fans, the characters she plays, the games she's been in and the roles she plays in the television industry as well... it's wonderful to see.... though if Meer avoids it due to a desire for privacy I can certain appreciate & respect that too. I've seen some of his theatre stage work and he's quite talented.

I bought bulletstorm and played it just to hear her. Was money well spent as far as I'm concerned, her character was delightfully crass and fun.

Also, Steve Blum as the main character was wonderful too... I experienced many a good laugh. It was the first FPS I ever bought and enjoyed, I generally dislike  them immensely (and I disliked the gameplay of Bulletstorm even... but I didn't care sicne I loved the characters & comedy of it so much).

ME2 introduced me to her voice acting and about mid game playing FemShep I totally turned into a fan of Jen hales work, its also nice to see that behind the voice there is a very likable and interesting person.

I also enjoy to learn more about the voice actors, like she said, even though they're doing a very important job they are pretty much invisible.

Thanks for the link!

Even though i always play as a male Shepard, i love her voice. I hate Mark Meer´s monotonic work as Shep. Hale has softer voice and it doesn´t hurt my ear.

She's so energetic and upbeat, and has such a great attitude about her work. You can tell she loves her job and is really happy about all the attention she's gotten recently. Voice actors in the game industry are the invisible heroes of story-centric games, and it's wonderful when they are recognized by their fans and the media.

She's obviously not a hardcore gamer, but that's cool, since she already gets to roleplay as a tremendous number of characters as her job.

Yep, that was her alright.

Would love to hear a renegade femshep spew lines like this:

The results of this 'recording session' are the only thing I'm looking forward to in ME3 right now.  ^_^

I too had never realized how large her voice acting influence was on me growing up until I looked into her further after Mass Effect. So many iconic characters I would watch growing up were her voice, and now she is by far my favorite voice actress in anything ever. It would take me way too long to list all of her roles that I saw as a kid, but just check out her IMDB page if you haven't yet. I guarantee that if you watched any cartoons at all in the nineties, she'll have been in at least one of them. Grey DeLisle, too.
