 I've been taking a look at the videos from the live streams from yesterday, Mike Laidlaw's hangman shirt had a boat next to it and looked like this: _ST__T_H

After looking at the world map of thedas i believe the word is supposed to say Est watch, it's an island you can see to the south of Llomerynn and east of the free marches. :)

Interesting...of course it could be OSTLATCH. (Indicating a hidden door in Ostagar? No? Too much of a stretch?)

The Hangman shirt has become a notorious tease. Posted Image

And the shirt on Mark had: _ I _ _ D E _ _ _ _ E

Which could be Wildervale.

So the current hints include, but aren't limited to:
* Eswa.tch
* Exalted March
* Starkhaven
* Wintervale

I wonder if all of these will be explored in the same DLC or if they're a series of story-based DLC's. Given that the Exalted March alone could probably fill an expansion pack (which hasn't been talked about), I'm leaning towards a series of DLC's. With the Exalted March probably being a post-finale DLC, while the others are maybe accessible throughout the ten years that Hawke spends in Kirkwall.

Exalted March on the first shirt.

On the new shirts, there's Wildervale and Est Watch (all one word), which are both places in Free Marches.

Wildervale is a green area near Kirwall (the tree on the shirt makes sense) and Est Watch is an island to the east (so the ship on the shirt makes sense for that).

I'm guessing there's a Wildervale DLC (with some Dalish lore and maybe even Morrigan), an Est Watch DLC (with pirates and Isabela being a good character to have along) and an Exalted March expansion. Though they've only referred to an expansion as possible. Still, it's hard to imagine resolving an Exalted March in 3-5 hours. That's why I figure it's more of an expansion.

A Ship? An island? South of Llomerynn? That can only mean more Hawke & Isabela. :D

Don't forget they basically confirmed Orlais too.

A few, well-made DLCs could really save Dragon Age 2 for me. As much as I've ragged on DAII, hope is rising.

Keep up the good work, Bioware.

Hopefully Es****ch is the remote island where the thought-to-be-extinct griffons are in fact still alive and well... with several different species occupying different niches, and some Fereldan naturalist tagging along aboard your boat, the HMS Nug, to catalog them.

I love these shirts, too.

I feel dumb, though, that it just finally occurred to me why Est Watch was getting censored. >.>

Being able to finally get to these different places will be cool though.

This. It always seemed to me that hawke should be the type of person who went on expeditions going to unexplored or exotic areas bringing back treasures and stuff to hang above the mantle. I think after act 2 hawke will be treated as a celeberty wherever he goes much like our warden.

Yes, Hawke is the Rick Ross of Thedas :lol:.  He went from 5 coppers to 50 soverigns in a year. Now that's hustle. Hopefully these upcoming DLCs (especially the Est Watch one) will involve treasure hunting. Isabela would think it was totally worth it

Thats for DA3 though isn't it? Es****ch and WIldervale will definitely be dlc destinations.

I wonder if they can do Orlais justice. I sort of expect frilly clothes, beutifull shoes and over the top hairstyles. And then there is Val Roy... (Can't spell the name, but the capital). We are suppossed to be hearing the chant all the time as background music.

It's Val Royaux. Even I get it wrong sometimes and add an E before the AU.

We don't know anything about Es****ch, do we? No lore, nothing?

Well, it is possible given how Mike Laidlaw said very suspiciously "At this point I can only promise statues" regarding griffins in Legacy.

And I seem to remember somewhere it was said there would be a DLC focusing on Isabela on some island. Of course, I could've just had that happen in another one of my prophetic dreams.

I'm also expecting to meet that demon pirate armada on Es****ch's beach.

Though given Es****ch's proximity to the mainland, it might not be all that remote... it might even be settled. In which case griffons would be unlikely.
