One going off topic isn't that big a deal.

It's unfortunate that you can't look at a woman without being drawn to their vaginal region, Godwood.
When i look at Miranda, i see a strong, independent woman that revels in her position of authority but also cares about her appearance. But at the same time, her outfit gives off an air of vulnerability, which is fitting given her issues.
When i look at Miranda i see that, and not a "piece of ass".
It's a shame that not everybody is as enlightened as i am in regards to equality and perception of women. Your neanderthalic views have no place in present-day society.
And those of us that appreciate interesting visuals should certainly not be punished for your inability to control your eyes.
I'm sorry bud, but when it comes down to it in combat and in space I want to see them sufficiently covered to protect their vitals from gun fire and the vacuum of space.
Save the aesthetic outfits for when we're chilling out on the Normandy between missions. Interesting visuals are not as important as the verisimilitude of the game I'm playing.
Goes for both males and females. ME2 was just ridiculous on squad outfits for missions.

Misogyny seems to have played a huge role in the changing of her hair from blonde to red, so Godwood's misogyny in regards to squad attires isn't that off topic.

No, thanks. I prefer the ME2 way of doing things.
There is no reason to have everyone in full body armour outside of extra-planetary endeavours anyway.

Don't bother trying to point out you don't have to use the premade Shep. Some folk don't wanna hear it.

I'd rather not that a visage dictated by childike prejudices and misogynistic sentiment grace the cover of a game i'm looking forward to.

That may or may not be the case I gave you my reasoning behing voting for the change and that was far from misogyny. He gave his reason - Honestly the real reason is some where in the middle. As stated the blonde IMO just looked bad on her - it was bad design all round. There are many things that played into the change on of may or may not have been Misogyny but there is a lack of Diveristy in videogames characters across the board which most likely played a larger role than anything else.
Honestly this whole voting things was Stupid, stupid, Stupid move on Bioware part and they have no one to blame but themselves for all the maddness surrounding it.

Because people here ****ed and whined " but but but the original ugly default Shepard had red hair and we're frightened of change so please make her a bluey" Ok said BioWare, whatever you want! Plus we can use it for more pointless advertising whilst detracting from the actual game! Awesome!!
...It was red? I thought it was brown.
While I'm happy for the femShep that was choosen, for the simple reason she looks badass, as someone who'sn studied marketting, it was kinda evident the decision to hold a second round WAS majoritly based on who won Round 1. Can people seriously just accept democracy?
A LOT of feminist 'gamers' blogging and even female writers from GAMING MAGAZINES were whining about how 'sexist this was' and even compelling readers to not vote for 'Barbie' or to boycott Bioware for the decision. Seriously, how PATHETIC is that? As a female gamer myself, I'm more grateful Bioware HAS the option for us to play as a female character.

I'm bitterly disappointed that she's no longer blonde -- i'll be doubly so if it's because of the prejudice of the fanbase. Will it be possible to alter her hair colour?
Of course you'll be able to give her blonde hair. The new default FemShep is just a marketing tool, nothing more. You'll see her in the femshep trailer and on one side of the ME3 CE case. Beside that, you'll see her in the ME3 cc. You'll be able to change her looks just like with any other preset (except sheploo because that face wasn't created using the cc) so if you want to give her blonde hair, go right ahead.

I agree alot of it is pathetic considering Bioware put to a fan vote and it was not deceision. I can understand the sentiment I for one am all for more diveristy in the lead characters in gaming but I think many went over board and could have been handled better.

Word. I dont give two ****s what women wear inside the ships. They could be naked for all I care but on combat mission or situations with hazardous enviroments I damn well want them to look like they are prepared. Especially if there is a danger of space vacuum around you!
Also for making characters unique, the body armors could look unique too. Different designs, personally modded... A can of spraypaint can do wonders too. I would believe Jack's own armor would have quite a bit of different things attached to it. Samara something ornamental and "knightly", design propably influenced by old armors Justicars wore before spaceage... Use your imagination Bioware and do not take the easy way out like ME2 did.
About why people voted for the red hair, I guess it was because they wanted consistency with ME1 and 2 Femsheps, atleast my vote was influenced by them even though I preferred brunette/black hair. The old model had lots of problems and I am glad it gets a remake but I'd like to keep the red hair because it feels so familiar. I always use default faces in ME games.
