If 31,000 people wanted BlondShep, then why did she only get 5,000 votes in the second round of voting?
Where did those 26,000 people go? Hmmmm?
I guess they must have been abducted by the Collectors.
If 20,000 people wanted red head Shep why didn't they vote for her in the first round?
Why did they change her hair from blonde to red?

Because they didn't like her hairstyle. They wanted #5 hairstyle, but with red hair. As the results of the second poll have shown.

When the blonde Shepard won, that was the end of it is as far as most of us were concerned.
It's clear from the numbers that significantly fewer people voted in the second round of voting. The people that were the most likely to be aware of the second round of voting, are the ones that disliked the blonde, so the results are hardly surprising... or fair.
That is so terribly not true I can't even describe it. Why is it so difficult a concept that people prefer other hair colors than blonde for Shepard? Why does it have to be about hating blondes? And no, it wasn't just the ones who disliked blonde who voted in the poll that is absolutely ridiculous.
Why didn't blonde win? It wasn't a conspiracy, most of the people who originally voted blonde apparently preferred a different hair color. End of story, minimal prejudice involved (except for that annoying minority. And I mean minority)
I guess that maths isn't your strong suit.
We know that 31,000 people voted for the the blonde Shepard in the initial round, and that 19,000 people voted for the redheaded version. That's 50,000 that voted on just two of the six options.
According to the graphic posted above, only around 40,000 voted in the hair colour poll.

I think we established this long ago. Most people liked FemShep 5 for her hairstyle. Color, based on 2nd poll voting, was a much less important factor.
The numbers don't lie dude.
You are quite right about that. I'm interested to see the data sets you used to arrive at your conclusion. I'll wait.....
And if hair color was a "much less important factor" why was there a second vote? Wasn't the whole second vote entirely based on the premise that people didn't like the hair color? But if hair color wasn't an important factor why have the vote?

The people that would have known about the second round of voting are the ones that were not happy and complained. Fact.
This has skewed the poll, making it an unfair result.

True but where is your data that says everyone who voted in the poll was a prejudiced blonde hater? Most of them didn't want blonde, yes, but that doesn't make them those annoying people who were making such harsh comments.
Why are the people who would have known about the poll be only the anti-blondes? I wasn't aware that news about the poll was only sent to them. I got the news, and I'm not anti-blonde. That statement doesn't even make any sense. Though I do remember a lot of people who voted blonde originally being immature and refusing to vote. Maybe that's why. In any case that's not the other 2nd poll voters' fault.
You're making kinda silly speculations.

You're a peach darling! I'm not sure why I bother writing this but I'm curious to see the data sets you used to arrive at your conclusion that all voters in the 2nd poll where prejudiced blonde haters. I'll wait....
Hair color is less important than hair style. Obviously if we could only have one it'd be the style, which is proven in the results 1st and 2nd polls. That doesn't mean people don't want to customize color, it's just not as important to them apparently.
Though I'm sure nothing anyone says will get you to even glance at the other side of the argument. Surprise me huh?

Or they friended (or whatever the heck it is you do on Facebook) the Bioware page on Facebook and got a message about the second round.
Or they go to video game news sites, like Kotaku, which told people that there was a second round.
Or the whole unhappy and complaining thing if you ignore that.

I never said "everyone who voted in the poll was a prejudiced blonde hater" or anything close to that. You are the one making silly speculations.
The only conclusion you could even venture to draw from the 2 votes is 1) More people who likes blondes voted in vote #1 and 2) More people who like red heads voted in vote #2
Aside from that the other conclusion you can draw from the facts is more people voted for Blonde than Red head. With the available data you can't make any assumptions about why people voted the way the did in vote #1. We have no idea how many of the 31K from vote #1 even voted in vote#2 if any did we have no idea how they voted. You can't draw any inference about why people voted the way they did, all you can do is count their votes. When you do, Blonde is the clear winner.

Oh geez. Some people can't take losing can they. It can't just be that people preferred a different color, no, it's that only redhead lovers voted in round 2. Nevermind that every hair color was above the orginal blonde.
No, everyone actually wanted blonde and accidently clicked on red. The only people sent the poll were redhead lovers, Bioware was extra careful to make sure that people who liked Blonde Shep were not informed of the vote.
There's no reason to believe that the voting sample in round 2 wasn't just as varied in poll 1 but in a smaller amount of people. There is no proof otherwise.
Where did the blonde voters go? Did they get what they wanted and say "Oh now I won't go on the internet anymore and won't listen to any more ME3 announcements?" Hard to believe. Less voters does not mean that only blonde supporters didn't vote again. And if they didn't it was probably out of bitter, not because they didn't know about it.
The only fact that is apparent is that voters did not want blonde.

/shrug I'm still curious how you arrive at that conclusion. Fact is Blonde Shep has over 30K votes. Red Shep had 19K. I understand folks want to invent their own supposed "truths" about why people voted for Blonde Shep in round 1 but the fact is they did vote for her, and she won. Now the fact that BW chose a different one for the default is irrelevant to that.

Life is usually not very simple. There are often multiple reasons for things, and as you can see, there are a myriad of factors that contributed to my not voting.
I was on vacation, so in spite of owning a blackberry, i wasn't keeping up to date with the news as i maybe would of had i been at home. Additionally, having won the original (and at that time, only billed) round of voting, i had little reason to worry any more.
I didn't need to come here to voice my unhappiness, unlike so many others. It stands to reason (and is reflected in the voting) that those unhappy with the blonde shepard made up a higher portion of the voters in this second round.
Those of us that were happy with the original decision had less reason to be aware of the second round of voting.
There is nothing inconsistent about my thinking.

The only one inventing a "truth" is you love. You're conclusions are no less valid than mine and definitely no more. You making excuses for why Blonde didn't win round 2 because you can't understand why people didn't want what you presumably wanted.
I voted 5 and preferred redhead to blonde in the 1st poll. You know what? I dealt with it, it wasn't that big a deal. Why can't you do the same?
Did you just say Bioware chose the redhead? Oh lawdy!
