Nay, this was obviously a professional and nefarious effort to thwart the development of NWN. Bioware is clearly pissed off that the company's latest creations are measly crap next to NWN, so they're trying to sabotage the community which created better content than the original things in the game. They're ashamed, and fearful, and irate, and seek blood.
