Which dialogue choices do you think I have to use with Ash in ME2 to keep her as a future-wife in ME3 please? I am quite curious to know what other people think. Thank you.
P.S. The more detailed your explanation, the more appreciation. :) (mainly because I am TOTALLY clueless)
Thanks again!

The easiest way I know of is to not talk to any of the 3 other official romance options after they become loyal. Kelly isn't an official romance so she doesn't count. I used the Morality guide on the masseffectwiki site as a guide on getting paragon/renegade points. It also lists the choices that would lead to romance, just don't make those choices if you talk to Miranda, Tali or Jack after you make them loyal. If you look up their bios on the wiki site, it explains how to romance them, just do the opposite :-).

i don't actually think it'll be a problem. if you imported an ME1 shep with ash as you li the devs can't expect you 'stay faithful' in a way that won't jeopardise a future with her in ME3, that's too much to ask. we know she's present in ME3 and imo i think it'll play out like your convo with liara in lotsb. but if you wanna keep it safe then middle of the road, you stay slightly paragon with your crew but never hook up with them. it's pretty obvious when you're on that track, you've gotta kiss them and promise a bunch of stuff before you hook up, you should be able to see it coming from a mile away.

By what she says on Horizon, its an indicator that she has broken up with you. Leaves you free to have one of the others, or you can be celibate for ME2. If she knows you had someone else, just say it was a one nighter rebound thing.

Yah, but, don't you have the "lesser of three evils" to choose? Which one of the dialogue choices would that be? The top right one (aka the Paragon corner)?

where you beg her? the paragon choice is the safest bet, but no matter what option she gets pissed off and 'leaves' you. it's a pretty clean cut regardless of what you do or how you feel, which is why it would seem strange for the devs to hold that against you in ME3.

I don't think the game keeps track of how you talk to her on Horizon. I'm fairly certain you can pick any of the options in any order and it'll end up at the same point. If you're really concerned about it though, just try to pick the less confrontational sounding options.

If you want to ensure she'll get back with you into ME3, then after Horizon reject any of the other women who may show interest in you and say no to Kelly if she hints at spending more time with you. We don't know how getting with someone else in ME2 will affect the original LI in ME3 but making sure you don't have any other LI at the end is most likely the best way to get back together with your ME1 LI in ME3 without too much trouble. Well, less trouble than having a second LI would bring at least. As long as that photo of her on your desk is visible, everything should be fine.

Careful with Jack though. Her romance can kind of sneak up on you if you're a Paragon.

You can fool around with Kelly and it won't matter. No Love Interest setup with her like Miranda, Jack or Tali. But, if you want to stay in character, you can always remain faithful to Ash. Liara doesn't seem to mind if you mess around with Kelly tho.

she definitely plays a role in ME3 and if the fact that anyone of the opposite sex has been fair game in the last to titles than yeah, i expect her to be. stoked i'm gonna get to tell her bible bashing, xenophobic ass to take a hike again.

From what bioware said, about both LI will fight for you in mass effect 3 I think she will be the most angry at you
