DA3: Hero and Companions. Who do you hope for?

I like the rogue Templar suggestion, sorry can't remember who made it. I can see that happening to someone after Meredith went bonkers.
As long as I'm just rattling things off, I'd love to have companions refuse to join me if they don't agree with my personality. Don't ever expect it but it would be interesting to me.
Mostly, I just want a good story, good companions and fun, with lots of dialog.

Why not Elves believe in the maker? Their spies or something. So why not members of another race?
Also is it a rule that only humans can be templars or is it just racism?
Never seen a non human templar. Elves and humans are mages. Dwarfs are neither.

i want to focus in DA3 on the two heroes of the beginning: hawke and the warden as protaganist then you can choose between them who you will play and then DA3 could be a valid and ultimate conclusion of their story then people dont have wonder what happens next. because neither of those characters had a decent conclusion of their storys and i think they both need a game to to that.
Imagine the slogan: "Where it began shall it End" for the Warden and hawke

yeah like the idea

Its implied that Nathaniel was interested in Velanna. Velanna shot Anders down big time, when Anders tried to hit on her. Shale had a thing for Sten and so did Morrigan. Leliana also teases Sten. One of my female wardens also flirted with Sten.
In DA2 you can hazard a guess there is fun tension between Fernis and Isabela having a thing with each other. Party banter reveals alot sometimes. I also see Varric giving Isabela a tumble. I think Zevran hit on everyone. I'm not sure if he did on Shale and Sten though.
As for a Hero. I'd want to play a Seeker, or a female qunari mage who is a run away from the qun. If we're going to be a darker character, then like Leliana is currently to the Divine. The person who stands on her left side, opposite Leliana on her right. I haven't considered anything else once they said my warden won't return again.
I'd like Cassandra as a possbile party member and love interest. I do want a female SS warrior for any male hero. The ones that we've had have died or no LI allowed. So make Cassandra a SS warrior. I want a bad boy who is tough and not moody. Someone with Alistair's charm, if a romance, yet hard core no nonsense when it matters. This could be Wynne's son or grandson depending on plot of the new book.
I don't want to play as the OGB until DA4 and not at all, unless they can figure out how to import my warden with my decisions and no import bugs. I'd love another qunari companion. We have to have a couple rogues, and a few mages and of course the party wise ******.
I've love to see Sigrun again, Anders if he is alive, Alistair of course if he is alive. Do something with Sebastian. I'd also like to see Finn and the Dalish elf from WH. Merrill and Isabela too. It sounds like from the Pax Panel that we might be jumping back and forth between various countries. I'd assume Isabela is running our party around or we get a ship captain as a companion. A qunari ship captain male or female would be very cool. Of course new monsters, a tainted sea monster darkspawn. We've never really dealt with the oceans around Thedas to much.
Zevran, Leliana, and Varric as quest givers. I want hints on what Morrigan and my wardens are doing if they are alive. My former companions defending my decisions and that the blight did happen in Ferelden and an Arch demon was slain. Since the rest of Thedas doesn't seem to believe this. I want Flemeth popping in and out of the picture and what she is currently up too. Of course we have to meet the Empress if we're going to Orlais.
I want Bodhan and Sandal as merchants and I'd love to see another merchant pair like Wade and Herren, black emporium style.
I want my companions having a drinking game or card game in the humble common tavern with the entire party present. The loser has to get on the bar and dance or something. We could have an old fashion food fight something of this nature. If I have family members fine, they can be in danger, but let me save them this time.
Seeing Bethany, Carver, Nathaniel or Stroud on another grey warden mission would be very cool. Carver on a mission as a Templar or Bethany as a mage. I'd love to see Velanna pop up if she is alive for the added flavor of her bitter tongue and Bethany coming across Velanna. Better yet, I'd love to see Morrigan and Velanna meet up.
No game would be complete without dog. If we have a narrator then let's have a female city elf.

Zevran did not hit on Sten. He was more fascinated with elves being given positions of rank and responsibility over humans and even Qunari in the Qunari culture (Par Vollen and Seheron).
Zevran DID hit on Morrigan, and she constantly rebuffs him. But in the last dialogue, she finally accepts his compliments as genuine, only to have Zevran turn to Lelianna or Alistair and say, "What did I tell you?" to which they reply, "You win the bet." Morrigan expresses anger at everyone for that.
Morrigan was never actually interested in Sten. She offers herself to him to make him uncomfortable. In that final dialogue he calls her bluff with talk of needing armor, a helmet, and an iron pry bar. Once again, she declines knowing she's been made a fool of.
I love Lelianna's teasing Sten, but it's nothing sexual. She just likes trying to appeal to his softer side. As that dialogue progresses she encourages him to have some emotions of playfulness and happiness.
Zev ABSOLUTELY offers Leliana his services, which she politely declines. "If I'm interested you'll be the first to know," I think.
Interstingly, Zevran does hit on Ogrhen a little. But again it's just to make Oghren squirm.
Wynne absolutely flirts with Alistair in Return to Ostagar, going so far as he better be careful or the next morning would not be the first in which she wakes up next to a younger man.
Now I usually play a warrior. So I don't usually pair Sten with Alistair with Shale. So I'm not versed in their banter. I do know Shale and Sten get along. Lohgain loves Dog. Sten and Loghain have some interesting discussions.
I could go on.
But Nathaniel and Velana, huh? Honestly I thought the party banter in Awakening was weak at best so I never picked up on an actual romance. I do remember he did manage to get on her good side - but I chalked that up to Nate's ability to get on everyone's good side. It just was not very obvious to me.
Now DA2 . . . I romanced Isabella so I did not get to see her and Fenris. But I've read elsewhere on the forums that it was pretty obvious.
But still . . . Shale never romanced anyone and Paul Mua'dib I mean Sebastian never romanced anyone to my knowledge. I don't understand why Ethereal is bringing up Stone Prisoner and/or Exiled Prince.

A female player can marry Sebastian and if you take Bethany into Legacy he mentions your wedding. No hanky-panky in the bedroom though.

He means they could be added as DLC characters, and if you don't go into a relationship with either or them they wind up together.

Seb was cool but he was one of the baddies, however unwittingly and his holier than thou attitude stank. Anders was easily the better character, if only because he had the balls to stand up for what was right. His blowing up a Chantry was a major blow to the Templars, and was necessary to free the mages from the Right of Annulment and torment from the Templars.

Considering Meredith orders Annulment as a direct consequence of his blowing up the Chantry, that is a complete lie, or is just unknowingly wrong. The Xand wrote...

The fact that genociding the mages was even an option for the Chantry proves that Anders was right and they needed to fight to be free.

Bioware has already said that: The Warden and Hawke will not return. Hawke's story is going to be brought to a conclusion. I"m assuming in DLC. It seems to me, we will play a seeker and if not finishing Hawke off in DLC I'm wondering if our new hero will hunt hawke down to kill him/her.
DA3 will have a new hero. Each new game will have a new hero.
Edit:
I'll always be in the camp, that I do want to see my alive wardens again. I wouldn't mind any US wardens being met in the fade. That would be cool too. We don't speak, just give a book and point the new pc in the right direction. If you're warden was evil, point the new pc in the wrong direction!!!!

I meant that they could be DLC companions in one bundle.
But Nathaniel and Velanna show signs of a mutual attraction to one another, so I'd like to see Bioware take this a step further and make them have banter to show that they're starting a relationship should the player not romance either of them were they both to be companions.
EDIT: Hell, why just do banter? Why not also have a couple of scenes showing them in a relationship?

Yeah I did figure that they wouldn't have them as playable characters, but they'd still be interesting to have as companions.
