Personally, I love that our community has people with heated convictions, I have no massive problems with them telling the world and his wife that they're full of crap because of their position on the direction of DA2, or how they see the Deep Roads or Loghain or whatever.

Most of the real spitfires on these forums, I'd be happy to have a pint with and talk about this stuff. I don't have a problem being told I'm talking complete bollocks by my fellow RPG players, even if it's a bit rude sometimes, and I'll do the same back. Once we've all cooled down, it just doesn't amount to real animosity.

Where that falls down, and where I take issue with a poster in this thread is where it gets really personal, where everything's got this nasty ad hominem overtone. That's a bad thing to introduce to a conversation.

I think we probably shouldn't do it back either, btw. Let's leave it there before we upset someone who's obviously not happy anyway.

I wonder why some people just dont take their own advice and ignore him. It takes more then one person to derail a topic.

@Goth I don't have a problem with passion, but belittling people, yeah not my thing. Also not taking one's own advice. He basically did a no no with me. He claimed he was being bullied and DAO fans were chasing him off, but he was doing the same thing and demanding we all go away.  *shrugs* I feel sorry for him.

yeah maybe you should stop playing part 2 was the best part but honnestly it wasnt even that great. part 3 was sooooo boring

and also people its COULDNT care less.

If you say 'could care less' it implys you do care either a small or a large amount of caring.
