At first I really just did not like ME2, I almost put it down, and hoped they would have a choice generator for 3, just so I wouldn't have to survey anymore. :P  The first act will still don't like it, but as the game progressed I found myself actually enjoying the game. Its a bigger challenge that envolves using your companions, they left in the military aspect of Shepard, that I thought I was missing.  I actually liked the individual stories, which until you do companion quests you don't get that from them.  Besides the little things that bug me, I can live with minor irritants, the only one big thing was surveys. That is just annoying.  But I do have issue with the fact that no one seemed to care that Shepard lost two years of life. TWO YEARS, and only one non companion asked her/him about it. Why not have a Companion quest for Shepard? I mean there was virtually no contact with ME1 LI (Kaiden/Ashley). I mean there should have been something more there than being yelled  at and then getting a criptic apology, with "We'll see" I mean they brought Liara back with a rekindle chance.

Ok, anyways with that rant over, THE END WAS AWESOME.  I have to say that was one of the best stratigic endings I have seen in a REALLY LONG TIME.  They have a huge bar for ME3 for this one.  So all and all, I will be playing another play through, which I didn't think I would do. But I think I did miss some things.

One good thing about a second playthrough, if you have also imported an ME1 character you start off with 50K of each element which reduces the scanning (yes it is annoying) down quite a bit.

lol, yeah it's a good story. it's a character based sequel, classically following the established rules of story writing. alot of people didn't like that the game's basically just loyalty missions, that shep is so forgiving of cerberus after the quest against them in ME1 and that the squad moved on. i thought everyone's backstory was good, they all got screwed after shep died and were forced to move on, some in negative ways. i also liked that shep stood up and kind've embraced the enemy-of-my-enemy philosophy by accepting cerberus and if you run a paragon end he completely makes up for his 'following' cerberus by telling TIM that he knows he's a bad guy and full of **** and that he only used him just like how TIM was using shep, very satisfying i thought. as far as mining goes i wanna eat the guy that thought that was a good idea, but find the planets you can land on for extra xp in a walkthrough and only mine for your needs and it's a bit easier.
