I dont see the spirit eater bar, and after killing the bear at the end of chapter 1 I dont have any spirit eater feats.
I have reinstalled twice already.

At first I suspected it may be some add on I downloaded but my first reinstall cleared all of that out. I was using charaters from the OC at first but I have also tried making new characters and still the same thing.

I have a windows 7 system and the other 2 campaigns ran fine for me.

Okku should have yielded when you fought him. Did that not happen? Maybe you have something in your override folder that is replacing Okku's conversation?

override folder is empty. When I fight him i dont get a conversation he just disappears when i get him near 0 HP

What custom content were you using before? Did you start a new game after uninstalling it or are you loading a saved game that was created when you still had the custom content?

Something is interfering with Okku. If the custom content modified the Okku blueprint then that could be the cause.

You are fully patched to 1.23, right?

I know what you said. Please answer the questions that I asked. Are you loading a saved game or did you start an entirely new game after your reinstall? What custom content did you install? If I knew what you installed it might help to explain if you messed up your system and what can be done to correct it. I'm not asking these questions out of idle curiosity. There are several possibilities, including that your attempt to uninstall and reinstall didn't actually wipe out the custom content (I have no idea how savvy or un-savvy you are about these things) or that you are using a saved game that has been corrupted by the custom content you were using. Lots of people have played this game and everyone has to deal with Okku and I haven't seen this problem reported before. So there is something different about your system. It is not a general bug as far as I know.

Also your main PC needs to be alive at the end of the battle. If he/she dies then the conversation may have problems according to some reports.
