Shep stand there and basks in the neverending glory that only a saviour of the universe can bring. He takes the applause of the Members of Humanity while walking down a now derelict part of New York City. He looks around at the devastation caused by the now defunct reapers. He surveys his team walking along side him. The beautiful Ashley and Miranda walk at his side. 2 survivors of the horror now thankfully behind all of them.

The noise of the crowd is deafening. Through the noise Shep can hear what Appears to be a beeping coming from behind his neck. He asks Ash if she'd take a look and appears amazed when she reacts in horror to what she finds. It would appear that Shep is living on borrowed time. The 200 x AA Ever Ready batteries that have been powering him for the last couple of years are running out. Unfortunately for him, the Ever Ready plant has been wiped out by the reapers.

He turns and takes one last look at the world. His final words ''Why didnt I go with Duracell?''

And my wolf pack... it grew by one. So there... there were two of us in the wolf pack... I was alone first in the pack, and then Garrus joined in later. And six months ago, when Miranda introduced me to you guys, I thought, "Wait a second, could it be?" And now I know for sure, I just added two more guys to my wolf pack. Four of us wolves, running around the galaxy together, in the Normandy, looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, I make a toast!"

 Some kind of reversing of what Reapers have said to Shepard in the past

 Some kind of 'we, a united galaxy, are beyond your comprehension. Before us you are nothing, and the cosmic winds have turned'

 Although really, I can't imagine a catchphrase or hero speech working very well when directed at the Reapers. Do feel like those speeches work best when they are about rallying troops, rather than belittling the enemy
