@quaigee - Your pic looks much better than the original... I feel like FemShep is looking right at me and asking, "Why did BioWare make my hair red again? When its blonde..."
Haha, thanks. I'll have brunette done soon to add to red and blonde.

The better description for this is "Brunette with highlights".

I cannot in good faith own a collectors edition with a redheaded female Shepard on the case, not after the initial choice was replaces as a result of misogyny and prejudice, so i'm going to either paint over it or print out a picture of blonde Shepard and celotape it over.

She looks better blonde. Good job. I don't suppose anyone could make her eyes blue as well?
Thanks! Change the blonde to blue eyes? Sure, that's easy. I'll upload in a few.

Here's a novel idea.. in the future, don't enter a thread that clearly states within the thread, there is an alterered / modified version of someone else's work... then your delicate sensibilities need not be harmed and you'll be all the happier for it... yet those of us who enjoy seeing the work of what other fans do can enjoy it in peace.
Your comment is about as sensible as me saying: "I don't like to eat fish, the smell really bothers me. Oh look, a fish market.. I think I'll go inside and look around..."
Hurr Durr Durr Durr youre a hater stop hating hurr durr my opinion is better than yours.

His demeanour implies nothing but the utmost respect to Oejniczak and his work, so there really isn't a problem. I hope he continues to mask the ills of this community and create many more blonde Shepard images, which will help us all forget the hideous circumstances in which she was replaced.

Personally, i'm glad that there are people like quaigee with the talent to undo social wrongdoings and civil injustices, such as blonde Shepard being usurped by the redheaded pretender.

Haha, I wish all civil injustices could be solved with a little Photoshop. lol
And the Shepard I voted for lost in the first round. I'm just thankful that we have the ability to customize our Shepard to look (nearly) however we want.

He is a very good looking guy, so it's kind of silly when people whine about Female Shepard being attractive.

Mark vandarllo was a model, I know, but he also looked like a rugged soldier which is why he was chosen.

THe new default femshep looks like a college student who just got off puberty.

The newly added freckles give a more girlish appearance, and if i'm honest, i don't like Patrick Oejniczak's drawing all that much. It makes her look even younger and the position she's sitting in wouldn't look out of place in Love Hina which doesn't help any.

Pretty much this. She looks like she's just turned 17. I'm not even surprised anymore, since this company's decisions are getting more questionable by the day. It's like there are 3 really (and I mean really) dense people in charge of all BioWare projects. They just don't get it. And it's not just the minor stuff, like this piece of artwork, there's stupidity written all over BioWare games in the past few years. And it seems to be getting worse by the hour.

I don't think she looked any older or tougher as a blonde, she pretty much looked as young as she does now. It's not haircolor or even freckles that make her look younger, it's the way they built her face.
