How does Fenris react to Javaris Tintop's plan to kill Tal-Vashoth with the goal of currying favor with the Arishok? I didn't bring him with me, but I need to know for a fanfic. I would imagine that he would be less than thrilled with the idea.

I don't remember him having a strong reaction (not more than a single short "what a dumb idea" quip, if anything), until somebody comes along who knows it exactly. It may have been that I had somebody else who had precedence (I know Varric has one or two eye-rolls in there).

To date he has shown no reaction and I have had him with me on nearly every occasion. Where he gets involved is with the conversation with the Arishok and once I realised this I made sure he at least accompanied me to the meetings. None of this has given me any friendship or rivalry points with Fenris from what I can remember.

I love Javaris's reaction. "Then we have wrongly interfered in your affairs. Would you like us to kill this dwarf for you?" "O_O Wait, what?!"

I was mistaken in my earlier post. As it happens, I had a save stored just before Blackpowder Promise and was able to run through the first part of that quest with just Fenris in the party. He doesn't comment on slaying Tal-Vashoth, but when Javaris talks about the qunari's explosive powder, Fenris has this to say:
"The qunari use it sparingly. Released to everyone, I could not imagine the chaos."
And when Hawke is warned by the Tal-Vashoth about his fellows along the road, Fenris says:
"Qunari and Tal-Vashoth remain … challenging to understand."
I wasn't going to try and complete the quest with just Fenris in my party, however. If you want to know what he says in the cave upon slaying all the Tal-Vashoth but before meeting with the Arishok, you'll have to figure that out on your own.

No, I brought him along on the second part of the quest, he just wasn't in the party when we met Javaris.
Thanks much!
