Ok so I made Bethany a Grey Warden on one of my playthroughs and for some reason she wore the robes in Act 3 when she was kidnapped but won't wear the robe during the legacy dlc. Usually I bring the robes with me to get her to wear it and I have also left the robes but she still will not wear it.
Bethany wont wear the Grey Warden Robes?

I agree with KoD.. .. what?
The only thing I can think of is that you've got a mod screwing with your game. Otherwise... what? Bethany's armor can't be carried around, and if it is, its a bug.. or a mod.. or a bugged mod...

When she first became a Warden the game for some reason gave me her robes as an item. Most times it does not do give me her robes. I carried the robes with me and when I would see her she would have the costume from Act 1 instead of wearing the Grey Warden robes. One time I did not bring the robes with me and she wore them. I do not know why this glitch happens.

Sounds like a scripting glitch. For some reason, the receiving object is incorrectly identified, so you are receiving the robes in your inventory instead of Bethany's. You might want to drop a line in the tech support forum for your platform. Sounds as if you've got a bug.

Have you patched? It's a known bug from post 1.2 where sometimes you'll get your siblings armor. A simple fix is to -- either patch, or just distroy the outfit... least so far as I remember.

I wouldn't dislike this glitch at all, i usually make her go the circle, but i hate the circle robes, they look so bland. ^^

Take the robes out of your inventory and try putting them in storage...
After I did that...she was wearing the Grey Warden stuff.
