So I understand it has been hinted at the Dragon Age panel in PAX 2011 that the Warden might meet Hawke in the forseeable future.  How do YOU think it will happen?  Will he have a voice?  Will it just be a brief glance?  Where will it be at?  Will it happen in a coming DLC or in DA3?  Share your thoughts.

I think determined by certain choices it will either be a boss battle or a cameo.

That would make one bloody amazing boss battle. Especially if Bioware could determine the 'flavour' of your Warden from imports (i.e. dual wielding warrior, two handed, archer rogue etc.) which they did with the Hawke's Key in Legacy, so it could be possible.

Although I personally can't see myself fighting the Warden. It'd be too weird. On my canon Warden import, I basically self inserted into the character, so it'd be really weird fighting him.

Hawke hires the warden to serve as his butler at Hawke Manor. The warden helps Hawke excavate the Hawke Cave and develop his alter ego, Hawke-Man.

I can just imagine Rogue DW Hawke, fighting my DW Warrior Warden

it probably would be a encounter to discuss future actions to established peace, and my warden would say with the wisdom voice: " i will help however i can" " perhaps we could take time to review what we learned" or "have you no concern over your own existance"

This would be the perfect opportunity to have my Arcane Warrior Warden teach the AW specialization to my mage Hawke (complete with a kung-fu film training montage ;)).

My Surana Warden went with Morrigan, so I doubt it'll be pleasant to encounter Hawke (and Merrill) given what happens at Sundermount.

Also, I would like to have control over my Warden. No voice, matches his Origins appearance, and can make a significant choice in the narrative.

For one thing, Warden most people's took out Flemmeth and then Hawke [did what he did].

So if the Warden doesn't knock out Hawkes teeth I would be disappointed.

I can't see a cameo working. Getting it done well would take a hell of a lot of work, and if it's not done well it's better off not done at all

Fred Tatasciore must reprise his voice set role from DAO and voice Xanthos Aeducan. I will accept no other voice for my Dwarf Noble.

My guess, if anything would be Hawke runs into a silent character with their face covered for a moment or two.

Hawke breaks the news about what Merril did with the clan to my dalish warden. My warden freaks out and tries to decapitate Hawke. Anders save Hawke and the Warden yells out something really ugly in elven and run away to find his clan... *spaces out*

But seriously, If the two would meet it would be epic. I wouldn't like the warden to have a voice though. It would probably destroy the mental picture. It would be nice if you were able to import old saves to at least se their faces or something characteristic for that Warden/Hawke.

I think i'm one of the few people that doesn't want this to happen I dont realy want a character i created to be doing any thing which i dont command him too. Bioware have already taken away the ability for me to play as mine own characters in there games at least let me keep the warden.

that said a minor cameo like seeing him with his clan or with morrigan would be ok but i definately dont want him talking or taking an active part in the plot

If there was seriously a battle between the two and I had to control Hawke, I'd just let her die and probably not progress past that. :P I love my Surana Warden a million times more than Hawke. Now my throwaway Warden Queen.. that would probably be a different story. ;)

But I have to say, it would indeed have to be so well done (the meeting, the battle, or whatever) or just not done at all.

Whereas I see the Warden swooping in all stealthy and silent-like to save Hawke at a moment of impending doom. (S)he vanquishes the foe, and recedes into the shadows, giving Hawke a brief nod before disappearing into the night altogether.

And if you have your sound turned up, you may hear the distinct clink of a grappling hook, and the whoosh of air as the Warden zips off to resume his/her quiet vigilance over the city.

To be honest I think the boss battle idea is really bad... unless the Warden is possessed or something... by some body swapping entity we've encountered before, perhaps...

I'm only think it would be a boss battle because let's say your warden went through with Morrigan, it's possible She becomes evil and if the warden went with her, he is prolly going a long with anything she says mind control style.

you know what? that is a great great great great idea....i was wondering how they were going to determine the warden's personality since DA:O didn't have a personality system while DA2 had one right.....but if they could find that out using the voices on your character creation they could map the personality......hmm its very very possible:devil:

That would be terrible. The warden can be Solomon Grundy though.

Hawke walks in to find the Warden inspecting the cheese from an Orlesian merchant with Alistair behind jumping like an excited child! ^.^ "ooh! That one! Pleaseeee?"
