I think it would be very, very cool if the circumstances on which they meet depend on what your DA:O outcome was.

If Morrigan and the Warden disappeared through the Eluvian together, maybe them meeting will have something to do with the planned Morrigan appearance in DA2 dlc and/or DA3.

If your Warden was a human mage, Hawke goes out seeking their cousin.

If your Warden became King/Queen, Hawke goes to ask for help with correcting the world's chaotic state, etc.

Hawke meets Warden. Warden punches Hawke in the face. Sabariel giggles. Hit-squad takes Sabariel out.

No, do not want. If it happens and the encounter is violent then my Warden is the only one walking out of that situation.

If the encounter between my Hawke and my Warden doesn't end in a wild orgy, I shall be very disappointed.

So what happens if your Warden happens to be a Dalish elf and Hawke killed all of his clan after Merrill decides to go talk to the demon to fix the mirror?

Hawke will wake up one morning and find Merrill's severed head under the sheets.

At least, that's how my Dalish Warden does things.

I think this is possibly the worst idea BW could come up with. But should it happen, my warden should ridicule Hawke.

Hawke: It's the Hero of Ferelden!
Warden: It's the champion who let a city burn.
Hawke: ?
Warden: I was able save a country from civil war and the world from a blight. You...helped start a war. Way to go genius.
Hawke: Um...thanks?

This is a way to satisfy all Warden Fans like me and i think it is good thing because the warden wont return as a protaganist sadly enough.

Anyway the wardens personality should be defined by the actions you´ve made, how the approved/disaproved your companions were in DAO and DAA.

If you made decisions like healing Arl eamon, saving conner and kill the demon, choosing king harrowmont, destroy anvil of the void Etc.etc and all your companions has high approvel your warden would have a personality like the ultimate Good light side character.

The warden should also have the mabari warhound from DAO with him

This thread reads like a Hawke haters wankfest.

Oh, and they are going to give the Warden a voice. I can't wait to hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I don't hate Hawke. I just think it would be funny if my Warden punched him in the face... and then maybe there would be Jell-O wrestling after... :)

Hold up, you got freaking Baird to voice your Warden? Freaking Baird?! Awesome.
I myself had Commander Shepard voice my Warden, so... Yup.

would not want this to happen!....it seems so cliche that the hero of the first game meets the hero of the second :/ i just want them to have their own influence without them meeting....dragon age = about the world not the characters

It wouldn't necessarily be cliche. Considering the situation the Warden is in (if alive), and the situation Hawke is currently in, I think a meeting could be very interesting.

Also, I want whoever voiced Adam Jensen to voice my Warden. His voice is almost exactly like how I imagine my Warden talking.

(For the record, if it came to blows, my Warden would totally own Hawke;))

It is a bit wierd because The hero of ferelden compared to hawke is when you compare the skill points, attributes and powers much more powerfuller than hawke and that gives the hero of ferelden much higher status.

Agreed, whoever did Adam Jensen can voice my Warden.

But my Hawke would face-stomp my Warden.

Yeah, the Warden ... may not have the moral high ground there.

Hey, you remember that time you performed a ritual in the Circle Tower that unleashed a spirit who killed dozens of people? Nice work there. How's things in Orzammar since you put a tyrant on the throne? Y'know, I helped out a fellow on the docks who was on the run from Bhelen's assassins. I heard he had the entire house of Harrowmont put to death. Bet they love you for that. Oh, and has Morrigan's bastard child descended from the higher planes yet as a Cthulhu-esque monstrosity to kill us all yet?

Warden: Can I get you a ladder so you can ...

Hawke: Yeah, I heard you the first time.

Warden "Atleast I was the one that made that choice. I had an effect and presence, the results were of my choosing. Can you say the same?... No?... Didn't think so."
Hawke "I'm rubber your glue, bounce off me stick to you... derpy derpy"
Warden "...Sorry who are you again?"
Hawke "I'm Hawke, I ran away from the Blight instead of staying to fight that evil unlike yourself."
Warden "Oh so your a coward?"
Hawke "Yes but in running away I was able to make name for myself as random guy #261 of Kirkwall who gained a title and riches by following around my companions and doing what everyone told me like a good boy. Yes my fame came from things I just happened to be there at the right time; but wasn't my fault I had no control over my companions who were emos and terrorists yet how was I supposed to know what would happen in the end due to my companions?"
Warden "You should of talked to them, got to know them and realised."
Hawke "I couldn't, they wouldn't talk to me and only spoke to me when they felt like it, they treat me like a leper... You were lucky you had friends instead of people who just used you and rest of time ignore you."
Warden "Boo hoo, cry me a river."

Exactly...and I find it funny that the other two posters assumed what choices my warden made. At least he had choices to make and options...Hawke was just kind of...there. And I like my Hawke, she was doing the best she had with what was available...she just didn't have much to work with. In AU my warden and Hawke run off together and let the rest of the world burn.

I actually used my own Warden as an example. Though, under the heading of unintended consequences, I could have also mentioned Wardens who desecrated the Urn of Sacred Ashes and allowed Kolgrim's cultists to fluourish, or those who preserved the Anvil of the Void and hastened the destruction of Orzammar. Or even those who aided the Architect and thus allowed the darkspawn who started the Fifth Blight to go free.

Dragoonlordz wrote...

Really? You're going to get into the whole "Hawke was a coward" nonsense?

Hawke also enlisted to fight the darkspawn at Ostagar. But unlike the Warden, s/he wasn't given a handful of treaties by Flemeth to amass an army, and Hawke's closest ally wasn't heir to the throne of Ferelden. And he wasn't part of an ancient order whose sole purpose is to fight the darkspawn, and nor did he share the Grey Wardens' immunity to the darkspawn taint.

Neither were any of these but they didn't run away. Neither did the Warden, he still went prior to even being a Warden, he still did as asked by duncan and the king [his duty to king and country and world even to stop blight and save everyone even almost died doing so] and went to the tower and would of been just as happy gong to fight front lines instead but was ordered to the tower. At which time Hawkie was running away instead.
