It would be nice if Bioware took inspiration from CD Project they did sex scenes quite nicely

As long as 'maturity' and 'realism' are not the arguments used... because both are nonsense. A game does not become mature because it has tha boobies (nor does a really mature game NEED it), and for those who want more realism I suggest you should go outside and enjoy the incredibly realistic world that is Real Life (be careful, though, shooting people may not be such a good idea there...)
If you want sex, there's porn, if you want violence, look up 9-11. For me, a game is fun because of different reasons than having lots of sex and gore. I'm not saying no game should do any of it, but there would have to be a solid reason to introduce some, and it shouldn't be done awkwardly just because it had to be in there, to be able to use the tag 'mature'.

Remember the mods have the sensibilities of the American films rating agency, so choose your words carefully.

How mature; violent, graphic, expressions of pain, blood/ gore, erotic depictions do you want/ not want in ME3?

Discuss.

S'F'

"Hmm... Let me think -

Don't think.Feel..." :P

Err... Okay... I feel like Mass Effect 3, doesn' t really need to veer that far from how they do things now.But they do need to cut it out with the cartoony like violence moments.Like when Captain Enyala shot the asari warehouse worker, travel person, whatever she was.And she flew across the screen. It was funny, but silly.Clearly done to lighten the mood of a really tense scene.

1. Violence: I want Mass Effect 3, to treat violence like how Mass Effect: Retribution describes it.

Posted Image

Violence is viscious, brutal and uncomprimising.I was cringing right alongside Paul Grayson when he was thinking about what the Reapers were making his body do to people. It was gross  and not pretty. There were no "clean" kills...I love how the author describes the carnage. It was visceral man...

2. Sexual Content:

Posted Image

^This.

../../../uploads_user/2116000/2115633/94438.jpg

And  this.:wizard:  If Lieutenant Ashley Williams is Commander Shepard's love interest in Mass Effect 3.I want her to just surprise him in his cabin like This ^ No just  "Inviting" the L.I. to your quarters.BioWare needs to let NPC's take initiative of thier own...

I like how BW have handled sexual content thus far. But for an example or two of how they can improve things in ME3.

When Jack is unsure if she wants to get intimate with Shepard.I would have liked to have the option to have Shepard say something to her like this:

"What's going on Jack? A couple of weeks ago, you were ready to f*ck my brains out.And now that I want more than that.Your chickening out." :P

Another example:

The Renegade Romance with Operative Miranda Lawson...  "Shepard & Miranda's "First Kiss"

Posted Image

Shepard - (You sound unhappy) What you don't approve?

Miranda: No. I'm just impressed.Your... sigh.Well just look at you.A colony kid, growing up in a pre-fab unit.Losing even that when Batarian slavers arrived. And you've done more than I could... Despite everything my
father did to make me perfect. You're the best humanity has to offer.

Shepard - (This again) Does it always have to come back to your fathers genetic tailoring?

Miranda: This is what I am Shepard... Sigh.I can't hide it.The intelligence. The looks.Even the biotics. He payed for all of it.Everyone of your accomplishments are due to your skill. The only thing that I can take credit for are my mistakes...

Shepard - (You're jealous) Wait a minute.Are you - jealous?

Miranda: Don't be absurd...

Shepard: The genetic mutt that the Illusive Man put in charge. That must sting...

Miranda: First: Its not a competition. Second: Based on your combat record.Your practically a "perfect" bloody human specimen.

Shepard - (Kiss her) Perfect human specimen, huh?

Miranda: Don't get cocky.I'm the one who put you back together - remember. And i do damn good work.

Shepard: You certainly do... (They kiss one another) Shepard then takes Miranda's hand and guides it down the front of his body and says,"Did you do any work on this? Miranda looks at him.She doesn't pull away. Then they start kissing more pasionately. But then they stop themselves realizing that this is not the time or place, for such extra curricular activities. B) And then Miranda says:

Miranda: What the hell was that?! Okay... This doesn't mean anything. We just - God! I need to think.I need... I'll talk to you later.

Shepard turns back to look at her as she walks away, with a smile on his face.Miranda turns back to look at him and says with a smile on her face: "And stop smiling dammit."  :P

You see - I just think certain scenes could have been taken a bit further but not to far.As Marlon Waynes use to say:

MAKE IT HOT!

In terms of gore it shouldn't be done like God/Gears of war or Dead Space  but when facing Husk it would be good to be able to shoot of their heads/limbs and still have them go after Shepard thats about it really

I've seen humans explode into chunky bloody bits in ME2 before, actually. Has nobody sniped the tank on a Pyro yet?

Honestly, ME2 is fine for violence, ME1 is fine for sexual content. I'm indifferent on profanity. F-bombs work if they aren't there for the sake of being there (don't force it).

The thing is does it fit. ME is set in a very...clean, futuristic world. lots of gore doesn't fit. Whereas in Gears of War the entire game is extremely gritty in comparison to ME, so the gore fits.

It's the same for sex scenes, or for cussing. I didn't like Aria's cussing, for instance, it seemed far too forced, like they were trying to make her seem bad@ss, when she doesn't need to use the F-bomb, just talking to Patriarch shows us. It doesn't fit her character, as in every other way she's very composed. Jack's however, seemed perfectly in character with her, so I did not mind.

Someone visited the Presidium too often. Omega is far from a "clean" world. So is Tuchanka.

Clean as in, you know what i just put it bluntly non-sexual, non-gorey, no intese amount of gore/sex just cause, but their is some, but just enough to be there without going OMG that man's head is now all over the wall.. The opposite of gears.

Omega itself may not be particularly "clean," but it's the atmosphere of the game. If you read at all, it's like the difference between suspense, or some such, and Noir genres: the basic art style is inherently different, and that directly affects how much gore/sex/etc. is the media used.

I hit them when they're infront of walls, because there's a trademark splatter all over the place, especially if it's a one hit kill.

Answer: Very Erotic.

*Example*

Grunt: Huh. So that is how it is done?
Shepard: *mrph*
Garrus: A little privacy?
Grunt: The voice from the Tank was very vague on the logistics of ... coupling.
Shepard: Grunt, seriously, just go - we'll talk about this, uh, later.
Garrus: Well - great, nothing kills the mood better than a curious Kro- OH! There we go.
