 I've looked this up, and didn't see any solutions, so here's hoping I will this time around.

I've had an issue with party members, more specifically Miranda, suddenly floating.  It appears to be a glitch involved with Miranda trying to hop on ledges and crates.  She tries to stop down, but stays in the air instead.  Or she tries to hop over, and instead stands up level with the edge she tried to jump.  This also happened in the final battle against the Reaper Larva where she ended up out of the level, but didn't vanish.  She couldn't move to cover, and of course was a literal sitting target.

Also in the final battle, Jack just vanished.  I gave her orders and heard her respond, but she was nowhere.  Just gone.

This is a clipping issue, where some edges can be "walked up" and you/teammates wind up in places you shouldn't be. There is no known fix* for the issue, other than a teammate will teleport to you on loading saves, changes of levels and should also when you get too far away. Now this doesn't help you in things like a battle, especially the ending one, but it is what it is. Just wait until you brush against an edge or column and wind up floating on top and have to reload from last save to get down........yeah you will be sooooo happy.

Save often and in different slots to minimize the problems caused by this.


*there is some reports of modifying your ini. to allow you to jump down from the float, but since I really didn't understand how it worked or really care to learn exactly how, since it doesn't happen that often to me and I am a save freak, I didn't investigate if further.
