I was just wondering if that ever leaked out, I heard that it was in the stream if you watched it live and considering how quick the internet is, maybe someone might've prnt scrn'd fast enough to catch it. I know that we already know what it was, that it was Hawke riding a dragon and that it was hinted to be future content, I'd just like to see it for myself, and unfortunately, my Google-Fu has turned up no results with the actual screenshot.

Before DA2 was released, Laidlaw said that using horses in a game is not so easy as it could seem...well he said that it's not so easy if you want to do a decent animation; maybe riding a dragon is easier to create, even if I don't understand how...must be because dragons haven't mane...
LoTR does fine with this. Armor on the horse no mane problems. The animations are really realistic too, even when jumping. It can't be that difficult.
Well, party-based mounted combat is significantly more difficult than individual mounted combat. Though if I recall correctly (been a while since I played LOTRO), I don't think you can fight while on a horse? Of course, no game will surpass Mount and Blade for mounted combat, at least, not anytime soon

I know using horses as mounts would be difficult, but I don't see a reason why you couldn't at least use them as scenery like the oxen or halla in DAO.
I've often suggested that, in at least one piece of content, we need to have a horse behind an impassable fence that has a greyed-out 'Ride' interaction option. For some reason, I've been told that would be 'cruel'. I don't get it!
More seriously, I imagine that it's because as soon as you have horses that exist but cannot be ridden, many players will start to ask 'wait, if there are horses, why -can't- I just ride them?'

Well Mabari exist, I've yet to see a good reason why I can't actually strap one (or more) to a chariot but it doesn't bother me, I could probably also stand to see a few horses without needing to ride them.
Well, I can state (from my own experience) that, if I'm playing a game and I see a vehicle (which appears to be in working condition) that I can't drive, but which would offer a significantly easier way of achieving my objective, I immediately wonder 'why can't I drive that?' Different levels of tolerance for different people, though. It's probably that part of me that feels as though all problems can be solved by driving a truck through a plate glass window.
