Say You Will - Kanye West
808s still gets some sideways looks from people, and I was a little perplexed by it when it came out, but I love it now. Kanye really touched on some deep stuff with this album. Nothing emotionally hits me musically than this album.

It was radically different than anything anyone had heard from Kanye, that's for sure, but I'm of the opinion that everyone is entilted to that "experimental" album. It was also bad that it followed Graduation, which is still my favorite Kanye album (and probably my favorite album of all-time).
I haven't experienced the loss Kanye felt at the time (his mother's passing), but I could feel his emotion through 808s, especially on Say You Will. I really like Coldest Winter as well, since it covers one of my favorite Tears for Fears songs (Memories Fade), and he did a really good job with it. Good Ass Job, I'd say (only you will get that, I imagine).
I can't even rank Kanye's albums, because I can't put anything at the bottom. I love all of it. I still think his most important album of The College Dropout, though.
