King Diamond always fascinated me with the methodology & mythology of his albums. Each song is a piece of the story - the album being the storyline in its entirety, most of which are very grim in nature. Some albums even are connected in nature(Them, and conspiracy).

I've heard many falsetto voices before like Robert Halford, Three Inches of Blood, Cradle of Filth, etc. However, King Diamond is the only one who made it feel like it was his natural voice...unholy screams, vocalizations nothing short of satan himself.
