I remember the first time I watched End of Evangelion. It was an experience that was simultaneously tragic, yet uplifting. This song seems to summarize not only the movie, but the entire series in my mind.

And on the other side of the sonic spectrum...this is my favorite song from Megadeth's library of songs. It starts off as unrelenting as Tornado of Souls or Peace Sells, but it takes a major detour around the last 1/3 of the song, belting out the longest, and one of the best guitar solos of all time. Lyrically, it's a mess - The video makes that abundantly clear. Sonically, this is as good as megadeth gets.
