Despite the name of the band, really only their first 2 albums are death metal. Their later work still incorporates the harsh screams, but the music is much more melodic and the lyrical content is much more serene and introspective. RIP Chuck Schuldiner.

This song means a lot to me. I've been through some tough times and this was one of the things that kept me grounded and made me put the pills back in the bottle instead of swallowing them all. You never quite leave that dark place once you enter it, but you learn to live with it and it makes you value what you have far more than how you used to.
