It's an incredible instrumental album. The tracks were just little recordings Reznor made, then stashed away over the years. He didn't know what to label them, so he just called them "ghosts" and numbered them. He never went back to them or used them elsewhere, so he decided to roll them all into a collective album. It's funny how they are essentially audio doodles but they are some of the most beautiful instrumentals I've ever heard.

This album impressed me. I can safely say I have much respect and adoration for Nine Inch Nails.

The Ghosts album was really a nice surprise from Trent Reznor / Nine Inch Nails, I guess thats when he realized that he could do (movie) soundtracks too.
