Hello.
So like many of you already know, DA2 was pulled off from Steam. Officially, the problem consists in DLCs. According to the latest update of Steam's ToS, they must be sold through Steam shop. Since that isnt the case with Bioware games, the game is no longer available for purchase via Steam.
But what about the Ultimate Editions? Since their point is to incorporate the original game and all the DLCs, addons and expansion packs, ever released for that game, there is no ToS violation at all - because there is no need in selling something apart when it's available in one piece. Basically, I don't see any reason why we can't see an UE of DA2 on Steam. Especially since DA:O UE is right there for $30 USD.
But, I'll be honest. I have never even played any DA game and don't quite care the franchise. I just want to hear your opinion guys, because that may reflect a bit the fate of ME2 UE(which is supposedly coming out in October-November). I just want to have that game on Steam.

Hello.
I do agree with you: I can't see why they don't pack a "digital only complete edition" (since they already discarded a retail ultimate edition), like Crytek did with Crysis 2.
I'd surely buy it, also because DLCs cost like the basic game (now at 9,95€ on Origin)... And that alone is quite amusing......

Agreed. I would even pick up a second copy for another platform if a DA2 Ultimate Edition was available.
