Have Bioware announced how much more is to come? Any idea of a timeline? Thanks.

They are working on an upcoming story-based dlc, but I haven't heard anything beyond that.

Hopefully a few more DA2 dlcs are planned, and then DA3 is released when it's ready, not before.

They haven't made any announcements yet.  Though, they have announced that they'll make an announcement.

If Gamescom is to be believed we should be getting an announcement of the next DLC sometime soon, whenever that is.

At any rate, there have been some hints via "Hanged Man" t-shirts the devs where.  The first t-shirt we saw a few weeks ago likely hinted at "Exalted March".  Just recently, at PAX, solving the puzzles suggested Wildervale, Est-watch and Starkhaven.  Those latter three are all locations in Free Marches.

There was a hint that there'd be a plot point regarding why Dragons are becoming more noticeable.  And there was a slide accidentally shown at Gamescom of someone riding something.  I know, I know: Merrill on a skateboard.  NO.  One person that saw the picture suggested it was Hawke on a dragon.  However, Bioware says that isn't what it was.  But I guess you can infer that it was something that caused someone to think it was Hawke on a Dragon.  So it was probably some person on some flying thing.

There was also concept art of what people believe was Morrigan shown at Pax.  Was that for DA2 DLC or is that a look ahead to DA3?  Who knows.

Oh, there was a further hint that there will be conntent in Orlais.  That was from an interview at Pax where someone said they were cooking something up that might involve a place known for cheeses.  Or something like that.  At any rate, I didn't personally assumed that meant that Orlais will be the focus of a DLC so much as it meant some scenes from a DLC might take place in Orlais.  But that's just personal speculation on my part regarding the cheese comment.

We were told at gamescom that we would soon hear about some new dlc. How soon is 'soon'?

They should make something that changes the whole game playing DA 2 after 15+ play through gets boring as hell even with the new DLC it's like ok your waiting till the end of act 2 to play the DLC then you go play it everything is awesome and than you done and everything sucks again. On top of that the game is way to short.

Evasive comment is evasive.

You shouldn't believe everything you hear, unless we tell you to. But you shouldn't believe us then, either, unless we say you should. Unless we have our fingers crossed, which means it's opposite day. Except when we tell you it's opposite day, in which case it's not. Unless we also have our fingers crossed. So you should believe everything we tell you.

Soon is not quite as soon as impending but sooner than in a bit and much sooner than later. :)

- what happened to the whole when it's done thing? Anyway, soon - is that later or earlier than soonish?

----

More serious, though, in the registered game owners general forums, Chris P. said something about maybe two or three weeks. And that the pic they accidently showed during PAX was for the next story dlc.
And some have noticed that in in item pack # 1, apparently there are hints about Malcom Hawke (the father of the Hawke) and in item pack # 2, apparently there are hints about Fiona, which apparantly is the lady: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Fiona

But soon, will of course, be soonish, and not later than sooner will be soonish. And no, it won't be impending....at all...

Chris in another thread said he imagines it'd be a week or two. So sometime in September, if the gods look upon us with favor.

If not, or Fernando leaves the slide in the deck again, then we may have to wait.

Honestly, I'm still waiting for patch news and hi-res textures, let alone talk about DLC they won't release until October/November. I want my news first, dammit!

As long as it has more player agency in it, I think that would be good, but not if it isn't going to expand beyond what Legacy offered. One thing thing I'd like to see as part of the next DLC, is what traumatic experiences did Merrill go through that made her personality regress and why the Elves looks changed from Origins to DA2.

You want a DLC that deals with development choices? Maybe have the Maker come down and alter the look of the elves and then wipe the old design from the minds of everyone on Thedas? Might be interesting.

No, "orge". Which I think is the Canadian spelling of "orgy".

Multi-character DLC romance! Confirmed!

Or maybe a layer (peel) and the slices of  an orange?

Or maybe just - Oran?

Ah yes, the great 'queuing to be hit in the face by a frying pan' of the Elves - how well I remember it.

If so impatient for more DA2 content, why not just start a new playthrough in the mean time?

I just hope any content is released "When it's done", and not rushed out the door with bugs that need patching, if they get patched at all. Patience, young padawan(s).
