So you know how, in Isabela's Act III companion quest, she leaves you a trail of sparkly things to follow? And Hawke says things like "This is Isabela's!" when you look at the spots?
What I want to know is--what is Isabela's? What is it that she's dropping along the way? Because she's obviously not wearing enough for all of those sparkly spots to be representing bits of clothing.
Frankly, in absence of any further information, I'm just going to assume that she drank a big glass of glitterdust-laced water before heading for the Blooming Rose. And then peed herself at strategic intervals along the way.

Bit's of jewelry from her necklace? Specially marked coins? Her cheating playing cards?
Who knows?

Gold dust. Every pirate carries a small sack of gold dust. It's very useful for leaving breadcrumb-like trails, or placing on top of pressure-plates when trying to swipe a fertility idol...or something similar.

Totally! As an actual pirate I can say that my sea worthy fanny pack is jammed with the stuff

I also thought of that. What did she possibly have on her to leave a trail with? If she was ripping off pieces of her clothing, then she should definitely be naked when you find her, not that she was wearing much in the first place.
Did anyone else punch her in the face earlier in this quest? That was one of my favorite moments in the game, and the response, "I waited a long time to do that!".

The cold-clocking amused me and made me cringe at the same time. And I expected it to come up later, maybe in a small bit of cutscene dialogue, but alas, no. I guess when Isabela said she wanted it believable, she meant it and was willing to brush aside whatever that entailed.

I was anticipating a later dialogue where she would say something like, "You didn't have to hit me so hard!", or something similar.
I also like how Hawke kicks the door in, before the punch part.

Love when she asks about ever wanting to hit her.
Aveline "Yes"
Anders "Yes"
Fenris "Yes"
Varric "Yes"
Sebastian Prolly "Yes" (I don't really use him ever).
Merrill "Yes... wait what are we talking about again?"
