A Lite Q&A with Brenon Holmes

If you have a chance, could you tell me, (or us) how many powers/passives each class has?
From sceenshots, and excluding Fortitude, the number or powers/passives may have increased from seven, and I was wondering if it did.

1. I read there was a toolset coming out with the N7 Collector's Edition. Is that true?
2. Has the ME3 team ever considered having Kal'Reegar be a possible squad member? I don't want to know if he is or not, just if it was ever talked about.

It doesn't matter what you say really it's really about trying to keep the thread on the first page( and since you filled in the survey the thread is relevant).

I am not sure if this information is available anywhere, I can't find it.....In regards to the Insanity Achievement, will that transfer across to ME3 regardless of whether the game I import to ME3 is on Insanity or not?
Thank you Brenon.

I also saw one that disturbed me: something about imported powers remain largely the same. That scares me that if we do import, we won't be able to customize the abilities that were in the second game. Which would be total utter BS.

When are we getting Vanguard info? I just scoped a post on twitter that said the Vangaurd and Infiltrator were the last two to be finished, meaning they finished determining all of a class's capabilities. I want to see them in action.

There are re-specs for all powers, and perhaps even for squadmates. Most of the powers we've seen have been powers that existed in ME2. The first few posts in the power evolution thread include evolutions for these powers. Don't panic.

In Lair of the Shadow Broker, I looked at Miranda's Dossier, and saw that she has infertility.
As a "Mirimancer/Mirimaniac/Miranda Romancer, I feel sad about it.
Will Miranda's infertility be a key element in ME3, especially if you have a Romantic Relationship with her?

That issue should definitely be addressed in ME3. Something like that is very important to her character. Since your question has to do with a character's role in the story though I doubt it can be answered right now.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...

Well, I can't figure out how people post links to individual posts on twitter. But the one I'm referring to comes from PWatamaniuk on Aug 17:
"@_Vertigo_1 When you bring over an evolved power it will remain largely the same."
He doesn't explain it, so until I see officially otherwise I'm going to continue to be scared.
No offense to you, but nothing on the first page has any relevant info that could possibly alleviate my fears.

Let me explain what I think that quote means. In ME2, you could evolve Singularity into Heavy Singularity or Wide Singularity at rank 4. The way power evolutions work in ME3 is slightly different. Now there are three evolution ranks (4, 5, and 6). So if you import an Adept with Heavy Singularity, he or she will have 4 ranks in Singularity, but instead of it being called Heavy Singularity, it will be Singularity with the rank 4 choice of Duration (as opposed to radius). So they're similar, or "largely the same," but they won't be identical to their ME2 forms.
If you honestly think they'd shaft imported characters by removing power evolution choices, then you either have no faith in Bioware, or are just a horribly pessimistic person that wants something to dread. The reason I linked the power evolutions thread was so you could see how returning powers like Singularity now feature different leveling mechanics. They're not stuck in the past. That wouldn't make sense.

Yeah, um, maybe all of you who are so worried about this ought to recall how Miranda and her sister were "conceived".

I can never understand the fascination with babies around here or why having a baby means should be the definitive "we're in love see we made a child together!" moment of a romance arc. It's like.. when did babies=love?
Have these people paid any attention to the setting or the characters they are obsessed with impregnating? It's just one of those mysteries of the BSN that I'll never understand, especially when the forums are so heavily male-dominated.. the lust for domestic bliss and babies just doesn't add up.

Sex deprivation and hormones + dating sim video games = BSN obsession with impregnating Shepard's LI.leonia42 wrote...
Why are people so concerned about Miranda's infertility? There's a war going on. For all we know Shepard is infertile after the Lazarus project. So what?

And I very much doubt the motivation there is for "domestic bliss." More likely it's about sexual conquest and ego stroking.

I wish that were the case. Unfortunately it's not, as evidenced by all the world's ghettos, trailer parks, and famine-ravaged third world areas where people keep on cranking out more children anyways.
Well, the situation is opposite in the some of the most industrializated countries. In Italy the birth rate is very low, we need more children. Immigration is what is keeping up our population.
About Miranda, as much as I like the character, I don't care much about the fertility thing. I wish that there'll be no loyalty missions, or something like that, like what was present in ME2 and in a minor extent in ME. Galaxy is in war.
The squadmates should focus on mission, and not on personal issues.

After reading the leaked script(I know im so weak:?) there is ALOT of action on the citadel. Not sure about size though. Stuff includes:..............Thane................Bailey..............Cerberus............Udina..........Council. Hopr i didnt spoil anything too much;)Gambit1st wrote...

Perhaps you don`t know, or perhaps it`s not your place to give an answer to this as it might be spoilers, but considering how it has been revealed that we will be able to explore the Citadel, how does it look/feel?
Is it more along the lines of ME1 with Presidium/Wards where we have pretty much a feel to be able to explore a 'complete' Citadel, or should we expect more like how it felt in ME2, where it feels you can only explore a 'small piece of the Citadel' with the few Citadel-levels you were bound to?
(Also, even more spoiler-ized, will there be action there, or will it be exploration only?)

2 Questions if possible
Will the heavy melee and disappearing gun be fixed?
Also when the infiltrator is using a power when equipped with a sniper rifle will it be fixed that the sniper scope isnt in use when aiming?
