dumdedadadumdedum.....okeydokey, as it doesn't look like there's a risk of repeating the same answer I'll just say that the likelihood of Shepard catching a sexually transmitted disease is highly unlikely due to:
1. Having enough cybernetics to survive poisoning by a Batarian bartender, so why not an STD?
2, Nowadays, there are prescriptions to treat HPV and even HIV to the point people who are infected can live long normal lives with caution. Those who don't have it can take vaccinations to protect themselves from infection.
3. The Codex I think made mention that nearly all diseases on earth were practically treatable and with military people being given standard issue protections for outside the body, it's almost to be expected they'd be given treatments to protect the inside of their body. After all, we all know how "active" soldiers can be.
4. If the talk with Mordin didn't cover that particular spot of worry besides the risk of Jack accidentally killing Shepard in the middle of their special time, let alone after, I'd be surprised and disappointed in Mordin for missing that.
So, yes, I do think there'd be no reason to worry about Shepard catching any diseases from a love interest.
Though we do have to worry for the love interest catching something from Shepard.

Who cares if she slept with them?

She screened them. So the chances of her having anything are low.

If Shep's really scared of STDs he has several virgins to pick from. (Liara, Tali) so there you go.

I know she has a cute face and all, and is somewhat attractive, but thinking completely logically, she's probably been with more people than anyone else on the Normandy. Isn't it possible that Sheps who slept with her now are carriers of some Super Herpes?

possible. but that detracts from the main theme.

inorite?

That dossier actually made me respect Miranda as a character (somewhat).
Instead of being a piece of fanservice who throws herself at you and wants only you, she's a woman with actual sexual desires whose been getting laid whilst Shepard's chatting her up.

It's a shame most Miranda fans choose to completely deny it.

I actually didn't think that happens during ME2. why would she need an apartment while she has a perfectly good room on the Normandy?

She doesn't want to bring some complete stranger on a secret state of the art Cerberus vessel?

Yep, it's nice seeing a character who's life doesn't revolve around Shepard.

A dev confirmed that it was before the mission. Miranda wanted a child, hence "prenatal".

There is no "them".  It was only with one person. (Only 1 address was given out)

I get the feeling Miranda's hookups did take place before the events of ME2. I wasn't on any planet long enough for that to happen.

@Wood

Patrick Weekes said it via twitter.

Obviously she's using the dating website to have a child safely. (Hence the scans). She wouldn't go anywhere else for fear of diseases. 1 out of the 4 and she heads to a prenatal medical center. A place that tends pregnant women. Like screening etc.

The writer wanted to make a joke (correspondence 2-3) but didn't want to go overboard (hence 1 person). The writer could have wrote in invitro but these dossiers are meant to be somewhat of a joke, nothing comedic about invitro. For example TIM as Hugh Hefner went WAY overboard.

You can ask Mordin about the state of the crew and he has no problems to report. Doesn't worry about STDs either when giving Jack advice, just aggression issues.

Who'd want to bed a 107 y.o. virgin anyway? Hunters are more fun than prey.

You know. I always took those Miranda files as simply her being terrible at dating.

1 person. And no conclusive evidence that there was sexual intercourse. And she went through an entire screening process.

That must only mean that she's a promiscuous ****!!!
