Same thing happened to me! I think it was in the docks. Aveline was like stuck in a corner so I switched to her and ended up below the ground.

Yup. I fell off Gaston Laroux's deck once, into the garden below. It made the following battles with his shades really bloody difficult.

Gascard Dupuis? I think that was a different bug. If you try and backstab a shade that's standing at the edge of the balcony, you can end up teleporting behind him and falling off.
