 I know that with the mass effect 3 collectors edition you get a bonus character, but i haven't been able to find out who it is. So my question to you, who it this bonus character??? (I hope its Thanes son)

Erm, where has it been stated that there's going to be some kind of bonus character with the collector's edition?

There was this ruckus a while back about some DLC called "the prothean", or something, that was listed to be in the CE. But that line has been pulled and regardless whether or not that's supposed to be a character and not some mission, or whether or not that's going to exclusive to the CE or just some "Hey, you bought the game new!"-reward, we don't even know if that's a real DLC and not some weird screw up from marketing.

You do get a fenris bot in the CE, but that's apparently just something ornamental thing for on the Normandy.

It will be a hanar love interest. So now everyone is pleased, including tentacle ~h fans.
Next DLC will be a giant, a fairy and and a serpent-girl, also, an omnifleshlight.

I'm also expecting an entire /d/ expansion set composed from various love interest covering a whole variety of fetishes and deviations.

I found this on the front page of ME3. If there is not a bonus squad member, they should really re-word this.

It's a character with a mission related to the Protheans. Whether it's an actual Prothean is uncomfirmed, despite the rumors.

Yeah, just like DA2 demo's existence was "a rumor" when it got announced in an EA newsletter and then pulled, and Bioware were all like "what? I don't know what you're talking about, hahaha"

That's BioWare / EA marketing for you, "accidentialy" releasing information. Annoy your fans to the point where they rage about thigns... rage loud and attract more people. I sure hope they do get what's comming for them someday. But since fanboys can ignore things like BioWare bazzar, I guess they can ignore everything.

Funny thing is those leaks never happen with The Old Republic, only proving they are indeed intentional when it comes to Mass Effect / Dragon Age.

Nah, that's a separate thing.

The bonus character was mentioned along with a new mission namned "The Prothean", which made a huge ruckus, because everyone thought it meant that there will be a Prothean squadmate.

Same thing happened here.Prothean bonus squadmate was in the initial CE revealing.And then they changed the back of the box eventually.Now someone says Casey said theres no bonus dlc character.

There is a Zaeed-style bonus squadmate, apparently. Supposedly a Prothean but BioWare neglected that idea. I think it's safe to say they will be an interesting addition to the squad regardless.

If there really isn't a squadmate involved with the CE, they should probably take this down. It's misleading.

Make attractive but pointless character, mission and other stuff for game.

Cut it from game.

Sell it as exclusive stuff so you can charge more.

The Protheans are extinct. They need to remain extinct, it'll seem cheap if a non-Collector Prothean existed, still alive.

It's not been cut, they just said they removed that text, nothing about removing that content.
