What part of that picture makes you think it's false advertising?

It says there is something included that according to some people isn't there,you can't sell something based on a feature that doesn't exist.

Now you need to read it correctly. They are saying exclusive in-game packs which is a wide enough scope to include the mission and the character that you will probably have to gather up like any other DLC they've offered. So what's the problem again?

I have just replayed ME1 again and talked to Vigil. I enquired further about the Prothean scientists that he kept alive. He said there was only a handful of them, and that they went to the Citadel to stop it from becoming a mass relay for the reapers to come through. He says that beyond that, he doesn't know what happened to them...

It is entire possible that those handful of top Prothean scientists survived. I expected to see one in ME2, but now I think it will happen in ME3.

The only bonus squadmate I'd want would be Big Ben, but I know he's already gonna be in the game as not just some random NPC but as a squaddie. I'd have to say 99.99998% of you lot seem quite convinced BB and Vega are different people entirely; I, however, believe otherwise.

Think of it this way: my feelings on the whole "Is Vega Big Ben or isn't he?" subject is similar to the "they're all bi" thing over in the DA2 forums awhile ago. The lass kept trying to convince everyone all of the LIs in DA2 were bi; I'm trying to convince everyone that Vega and Big Ben are the same person. We'll see who's right in the end, eh?  Regardless, if we do or don't get a bonus buddy, I won't find myself arsed either way. Us Britons are odd like that.

Over 50,000years? I'd have expected them to have left some more, much more recent, clues about the Reapers if that's the case - not 50,000 year old beacons and long forgotten ruins. That or, you know, actually coming out of the woodwork and saying 'The Reapers are coming'.
